This is the newer style (thinner) cap.
The two pictures in the description are of two different generations of this cap. One pic is of the early model (thicker collar and stepped slot) I had one on another trailer, and was hoping that was still available. The second pic is of the new type, thin collar single step slot. I received the new model, and it works, but does not feel as sturdy as old ones. Still better than the caps manufacturers give you.
