I love the ease of getting started if you're not looking to mess around with the OS system out the gate. Form factor is great as well.

Had this for a few months, got it for my bf, he loves it. No issues. Loves playing his games when away from home. Great gift!

My problem wasn't with Walmart, it was with this specific device. The manufacturer either failed to install or secure the SSD in this system. Which means the operating system was t on it either. We did some research and downloaded what was needed but it wasn't successful because no SSD. It required turning a flash drive to a bootable drive, then download the OS and then booting the system up in a manner that it reads that flash drive. Even running the system from the flash drive was t a stable platform.

I had bought the steam deck as a gift. We opened it, set it up and played for about 2 hours. Plugged it in to charge and the whole device completely bricked to a black screen. Unusable after 2 hours of gameplay. We tried troubleshooting but nothing worked. Waste of money, just get a pc. Not worth the 1k!!!!!

I would not recommend buying from this seller, i received a mostly empty box and the only item inside was dirty, which leads me to believe this was deliberately empty.

I'm sure that this is a great item for a younger, serious gamer who has grown up with technology. It's a bit difficult and overwhelming for me.
