Valvoline Modern Engine SAE 0W-20 Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5 QT

I am and have been an ASE Master certified auto tech for 42 years. I have had many hundreds of engines apart for repair and overhaul. As with any oil it needs to be changed according to manufacturer's recommendations. Personally I find customers who use extended mileage oils have more frequent oil leaks at the rotating seals since it tends to have a gritty or abrasive feeling between my fingers when drained. I personally have used Valvoline in my personal cars, trucks, and bikes without any lubrication issues. I love how clean the engine parts are and such minimal wear shown after hundreds of thousands of miles. This new Modern Engine Formula is super great especially if you have a GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) and or Turbocharged engine. I would not dare switch oil brands after this long history using it on my and my customer's engines.

Good oil from Valvoline. Since this oil is new there hasn't been much testing with it, but so far so good

Put my gas milage back up 50 miles already maybe need to clean valves from before switching.

The oil is good, but hard to find. I had a problem with the packaging. It was delivered via FedEx. It was obvious that the oil had been repackaged (done very poorly, somewhere along the line). Oil was seeping out of the box. It was a complete mess inside the box and one of the containers was a quart low.

The oil is fine but I ordered a set of three containers and one of them had a broken cap and had leaked some oil during shipping. It was repackaged with a note in the box that it had broken. I returned it to Walmart and they couldn't replace it and would not order a replacement. I'm not too impressed by Walmart on this purchase.
