Very nice packing for my new Julia Child Rose !!!!
The bare root rose came excellently packaged. There was tissue paper and a card in the box. It felt like I was getting a gift. I believe it's a grade 1 there are at least 4 green canes thicker than a pencil. The canes are starting to sprout. The company had directions for planting in the card as well as on the plastic bag the bare root was in. The roots were also in sawdust or mulch. I have never received a bare root rose like this before! Very exciting for it to planted and started to grow and blossom. Thank you!

Great quality roses
I purchased Julia child roses. They came wrapped, placed in water over night…dug a hole twice the size of root system wide… placed in and packed gently, mulched, watered, the stems grew beautiful leaves the first week…can't wait to see it flourish!

Slow at start
This rose sat for a few weeks in dormancy, then began to pop new leaves and then bloom. It's in the sun all day and blooms a lot now. Not a large rose.

Beautiful, but not what I ordered.
The "yellow, Julia Child" rose came nicely packaged with a card. I planted it as instructed (I am an experienced rose grower.) It took nicely and soon had several buds which turned out to be a beautiful reddish orange, I believe, floribunda. It could be a small hybrid tea. 3 blooms lasted open for 10 days on the Bush and 2 cut blooms lasted much longer than usual as well. I've wanted Julia Child for some time, but this rose is beautiful. I just wish I knew what it is. Would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

Beautiful rose, but not quite as pictured.
These have been easy to grow, and they grow reasonably quickly. Very vibrant yellow. Only complaint I have is that these have way fewer petals per flower than the photo shows. I had hoped for one with tightly packed petals.
