There are no downsides that I've discovered yet with this aux cable. I was surprised by the quality when I first unboxed it; gold-plated connectors, alloy casings, braided cable, looks expensive, etc. I recommend this aux cable to anyone looking for a good value.

The sound Quality of this cable is very good it is a very thick gage of cable and the connectors are very good. I don't put much stock in the gold plating but the quality of the connection is what is important. I feel this is a good value for the money. the right angle connector makes it convenient for tight spaces. I am using it to connect my TV to a pair of headphones that are made for TV viewing you connect the cable to the base and that sends the signal by Bluetooth to the headphones very good sound quality. better than the cable that comes with Them. I would definitely recommend. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. I know people are going to say why can't you connect directly by Bluetooth to the TV. it is not a high end TV and doesn't have that capability.

This Audio Cable worked and sounded perfect connected to both my projector and my boombox. I'm using it to watch my movies with my bluray player. I highly recommend this audio cable.

Sturdy and functional aux cord
My last aux totally crapped out on me because it could not fit properly into the aux port in my car, but this one is perfect. The angle allows for seamless plug in without stress on the cord. It's super sturdy/heavy duty, a good length, and looks like it will last a while. Pretty happy with it so far.
