My dermatologist recommended for severely dry areas of skin. This is the best body wash to feel clean but not dried out. i folliw up with their lotions as well. its taken year but my skin is amazingly better than ever. Helped with itching. There is zero fragrance.

Vanicream Gentle Body Wash was perfect for us! We try to use only products that are gentle on our child's skin. This did a great job of getting him clean, while keeping his skin soft. I am unfortunately one of the people who struggle with irritation and reactions to certain products. However with this product I have nothing to worry about. This product is gentle while still making me feel squeaky clean. The texture is great and doesn't leave my skin dry.

This body wash is so gentle. It's fragrant free, but doesn't have that weird smell that a lot of washes do when they're fragrant free. It's soft on skin and doesn't leave any residue. It leaves skin soft and silky while also keeping moisture in the skin.

Thanks Vanicream for the complimentary product! I have dry skin that can be sensitive and this body wash has been great for my skin. It has a creamy texture that lathers well. It doesn't have any scent at all which I like. It's easy to rinse off and it doesn't leave any residue behind on my skin. My skin feels very hydrated and clean afterwards. Highly recommend if you are looking for a gentle body wash!

Vanicrean kindly gave me this Gentle Body Wash for free so that I could review it through the BzzAgent sampling program! First of all, I would like to point out that the body wash lathered well, and was "mostly" scentless. I have tried the product multiple times now, and I do believe it gets the job done, there's no denying that. However, up close, it does have a bit of a strange scent. I wouldn't call it chemical-y per se, maybe something adjacent, but definitely noticeable if you smell it directly. But after the wash itself, you can't smell it. That's why I would concede that it's definitely "mostly" scentless or "fragrance free". Especially in the sense that it's not floral or gourmand, or has a classic "soap" scent like other body washes, and it doesn't leave behind that initial strange smell after the shower/bath. Like I said, it DOES lather well, and that's pretty good for being soap free! It makes me feel clean, so it does cleanse good. But I have to be honest and say that it does leave a bit of a "tight" or "dry" skin sensation. Not enough to be totally terrible or anything, and I still use the product despite that. It doesn't IRRITATE my skin! That's definitely as it's marketed: "Gentle". Just a bit dry. So yes, I believe this product is good for sensitive skin, it gets the job done, and I continue to use it and would recommend to others who have sensitive skin as well. It does leave a slight dry sensation, but it's not that much of a deal breaker for me personally. It's mostly fragrance free, and leaves me feeling refreshed.
