Great product. It did exactly what I wanted it to do.
I'm gonna save this with 1000% Honesty that I love this freaking poly!! best Poly ever and it works like it says. I did a remodel on my kitchen and purchased the beyond paint countertop paint, and the sealer, which was water based poly. The water based sealer poly ruined my countertops, leaving white streaks and unevenness everywhere. After loving the paint color and how it turned out, it completely ruined me to see that sealer looking so bad. I read a review of someone who went through the same thing and he recommended the varathane triple thick water based poly. I've used Poly before in the past to complete some DIY's and I had to sand a few times, I had to keep applying poly, and sometimes it just turned out terrible, and I had to sand it down and do it over. But this right here, OMG! Let me tell you I did my whole kitchen countertops, my bar countertop, and the walls where I painted the same color countertops onto the walls below my bar and it only took me literally about 20 minutes! The white streaks from the poly had disappeared within about 15 minutes, leaving nothing behind and it came out even and shiny. I will never use another poly again and I guarantee it. This is amazing. And I only had to do it once. And when it says it drives clear it dries clear! I wish I had a known about this Varathane years ago.
very expensive but you have to apply less and dried perfectly clear and extremely hard.
I haven't used it - yet! But I've used this product in the past %26 that's why I purchased it again!!
Follow the directions on the can and get excellent results. I had gotten some from Amazon only to return it. I think it may have been old.
Finished product was nice
This is a water based poly and it led to delamination of the plywood it was applied to. Subsurface blistering / delam from this product caused more work than I wanted to put into my project. Would not recommend if using on any type of laminated wood.
I found a bargain I thought. Polyurethane for $21 99 /gallon. Regularly $51.00. But when they brought it out it was 1 quart. There is no way a quart would cost $51!! Bogus ad on line.
Bought to seal a vintage chippy mantle. Applied in almost 70 degree weather. It left a milky stain all over my piece. No idea how to fix it.
Because I didn't end up with what I had ordered. Huge hassle!!
