Various Artists - The Princess and the Frog Soundtrack - Music & Performance - CD

My daughter loves this CD. It has all the songs from the original animated movie. It arrived quicker than expected too.

Someone please send me some earplugs. My 2 year old twin granddaughters have not stopped singing since this CD arrived! They absolutely love it!

My husband and I went to see this movie in the theater not long after he got back from Iraq. He plays clarinet and we both enjoy jazz music. Combine that with our enjoyment of classically illustrated Disney films and we were really expecting and hoping for a lot from this film. We were really impressed with the movie, but more than anything we really enjoyed the music. There were hints of musical numbers from old favorites that you can just barely hear through the cover of jazz music, and the traditional bad guy's anthem just oozed with the sounds of ones before it- granted with a bit of a New Orleans twist. Over all, my husband and I loved the movie and the music so much that we knew we'd buy them both at first chance- in fact this cd was my Valentine's gift to him. If you love jazz (and more importantly classic Disney movie scores- circa Sherman brothers) I would DEFINITELY recommend this one for your collection!

My 11 month old loves the Princess and the Frog movie because of the music. Her Grandmom got her the cd for Christmas and we play it for her every day. She dances to the songs and it calms her down when she's upset. My husband and I know all the words to the songs and love listening to it with her.

I like this cd, but I just wish that there were more songs instead of so many scores (music only tracks). My children know each song now by heart! lol!

My daughter loved it, but I guess I was disappointed. I think I was comparing with other soundtrack that we're more to my taste. However, if you like the movie you'll know what you're getting.
