Varomorus 12" Soil Sampler Probe Stainless Steel Tubular T-Style Handle

I ordered this to take 10 - 12 soil samples around my lawn to send to the extension service for soil testing. It's simple, straightforward, and sturdy. I didn't really have trouble taking samples, but if you're doing more than I did, I'm sure you'd really wear out your hands and wrist and want to consider one of the foot options.

It works to get soil samples for our pasture. I do have to use a rubber mallet to get through our red clay dirt and then bang it a bunch to get the packed stuff out of the top half before re-sampling.

The soil probe is very is very well-made and is very easy to use. The plugs released easily from the chamber and the compact size makes it easy to carry from location to location.

This stainless steel, soil sampling tool at 12-inches in length is perfect for extracting lawn or garden soil samples up to six or seven inches in length or smaller. Highly recommended.

The item is well made and very sturdy; it made quick work of taking multiple soil samples from dense clay soil here in Mississippi.

Handy and easy to use for soil sampling. The quality of the workmanship is impressive for the price.

Do not try to use on hard dry soil. I would recomend water aday or 2 before you take a sample .If its to wet you can't get it out of the tube.
