Vaseline Lip Therapy Lip Balm, Original .6 oz (Pack of 2)

I was born with a defect in my bottom lip that required reconstructive surgery. My bottom lip is made from skin grafts and cant make it's own moisture like normal lips. Vaseline lip therapy has been a life safer! I love the tins bc they provide a lot of moisture and are easy to carry in my pocket. I am never without one. I have been using these for years. I have one within arms reach at all times. I LOVE these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the Vaseline lip therapy Original tin for free from Influenster to sample, and I love it! It's a great size. So many lip therapy products come in a tiny container, which is understandable since a little goes a long way, but this tin allows you to get more for you buck! Also the Vaseline product, as always, is high quality. The Original lip therapy has been working nicely for me. It's soft in my lips, odorless and tasteless, and lasts for a long time. Very satisfied with this product, and look forward to trying the other kinds!

Love, love, love this product. My lips are always dry and cracked, especially in the winter months. It didn't matter what I would put on them, they would not heal, until this product. The product goes on smoothly and effortlessly and only a little dab is required and it lasts for hours. What is left on my finger after applying I rub into my fingers/hands and they feel just as smooth as my lips. The packaging is small and conveniently fits in your pocket or your purse. I know that I will never leave home without it. This is the best lip product for dry lips that I have found yet. Please note that I received this product for free for testing purposes

Ok everyone, I love my Vaseline tin lip balms.... I will use it liberally.... Now, check these two out. They're the same, yet they're not. The tin on the right is like the old fashioned petrolatum & the one that's whiter in colouration is I'm guessing the lip balm style Vaseline petrolatum. Weird right? I'm curious if Vaseline can let me know why the two kinds in the blue original lip balm tin?..... I personally prefer to use the one on the left, but both are great... the one on the right reminds me of what in the olden days Mums would use on their Baby's bottoms to prevent chaffing! I have bought for years all the different lip balm tins... the green one with Aloe Vera, the brown one with Cocoa Butter & the pink Rose one... I stick to just the original blue tin now as it's the purest, with fewer ingredients.

This is great for your lips when they are super chapped and dry. I like to use it before bed when my lips need some moisture overnight. I will also use it when I exfoliate my lips with my brush from my real technique set. After I exfoliate, I re-apply more to give my lips extra hydration. I can also use I little of this on the tips of my lashes before I apply my mascara to prevent clumping. It doesn't affect how the mascara applies, other then avoiding clumping, or effect the longevity of my mascara. This is a great product with many uses, even uses you wouldn't normally think of. Love this product and will buy again, totally worth my money.

Now that the weather is definitely taking a toll on my lips I've tried every lip product out there to help protect my lips. This product is amazing I have been using it Avery day for just about a week now and my lips are so soft and smooth and stay moisturizerized. There are no dry or patchy spots on my lips that would still be left behind from other products. The thing o love the most is that it does not feel greasy what so ever. I will definitely be purchasing the other options. I received the lip therapy in the original tin from influenster for free for testing purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a tin free from Influenster to try out. This goes on very smooth, and a littlr goes a very long way. I love the way my lips feel when I wear it! It is a touch greasier than what I usually wear, (hence the 4 stars rather than 5) but this lasts three times as long as other brands. Overall I would definitely buy this and use it all the time!

I need to try it when I have really chapped lips to see if it helps heal them! I can't wait to try the other flavors! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a big fan of petroleum products, but I received this for free for testing purposes so I gave it a try. I do like that it does not contain alcohol like many commercial lip balms. I would have liked to try the Aloe or Cocoa Butter versions, but I received Original. It sticks around for a long time, like a lot of the all natural lip balms I am used to using. It's a little bit "slippery" for my liking. That of course being due to the Petrolatum. Overall, I would say that it would not be my first choice for my chapped lips, but I would definitely choose it before many (if not most) major commercial chapsticks and lip balms out there.

I have used the tiny tubs of original lip therapy for two years now. They have now been replaced by these tins in every store in my hometown. While they appear to be the same product, I find they are extremely different. The Vaseline in the tin is more silky and thin than the other kind which has a more waxy consistency. The old, waxy consistency stayed on my lips a lot better and didn't come off as fast. As well, I find my lips MORE chapped after using the new lip therapy tin! I rountiely apply Vaseline even if my lips aren't chapped, and hours after I apply the Vaseline from the tin, my lips are so chapped that they are splitting! I strongly reccommend going back to the old formula, or at least making it available so that I can switch back and don't have to use this tin Vaseline! My sister has also had the same experience as me, so I think it's a problem.
