Vaseline Lip Therapy Lip Balm Tin Original, 0.6 oz (Pack of 2)

I was born with a defect in my bottom lip that required reconstructive surgery. My bottom lip is made from skin grafts and cant make it's own moisture like normal lips. Vaseline lip therapy has been a life safer! I love the tins bc they provide a lot of moisture and are easy to carry in my pocket. I am never without one. I have been using these for years. I have one within arms reach at all times. I LOVE these.

Now that the weather is definitely taking a toll on my lips I've tried every lip product out there to help protect my lips. This product is amazing I have been using it Avery day for just about a week now and my lips are so soft and smooth and stay moisturizerized. There are no dry or patchy spots on my lips that would still be left behind from other products. The thing o love the most is that it does not feel greasy what so ever. I will definitely be purchasing the other options. I received the lip therapy in the original tin from influenster for free for testing purposes.

I have a favorite lip balm and was not looking forward to changing my routine. At first glance was not happy that this was not in stock form. I am not a fan of using my finger to apply this product but that is the only issue that I have with this product. It lasts for a great amount of time and I live using it under my lipstick. It keeps my lips moisturized and soft. I just wish I came in a stick but u can look over that because it's just that good!

Vaseline lip therapy was the best switch I ever made. I've used other products to help with my dry and cracked lips but Vaseline lip therapy actually healed my lips with out the burning sensation like other products. I have recommended this product to my family and friends and we all agree that Vaseline lip therapy is the best.

This is great for your lips when they are super chapped and dry. I like to use it before bed when my lips need some moisture overnight. I will also use it when I exfoliate my lips with my brush from my real technique set. After I exfoliate, I re-apply more to give my lips extra hydration. I can also use I little of this on the tips of my lashes before I apply my mascara to prevent clumping. It doesn't affect how the mascara applies, other then avoiding clumping, or effect the longevity of my mascara. This is a great product with many uses, even uses you wouldn't normally think of. Love this product and will buy again, totally worth my money.

Ok everyone, I love my Vaseline tin lip balms.... I will use it liberally.... Now, check these two out. They're the same, yet they're not. The tin on the right is like the old fashioned petrolatum & the one that's whiter in colouration is I'm guessing the lip balm style Vaseline petrolatum. Weird right? I'm curious if Vaseline can let me know why the two kinds in the blue original lip balm tin?..... I personally prefer to use the one on the left, but both are great... the one on the right reminds me of what in the olden days Mums would use on their Baby's bottoms to prevent chaffing! I have bought for years all the different lip balm tins... the green one with Aloe Vera, the brown one with Cocoa Butter & the pink Rose one... I stick to just the original blue tin now as it's the purest, with fewer ingredients.

I use this daily to protect and heal my lips. It also helps to heal cold sores that are threatening to erupt on me. I get a metal taste on my lips. I will then apply a thick layer of Vaseline Lip therapy to that area. After a few hours (or sometimes repeated applications), the area is back to normal. This is a Godsend for me! My only complaint is it sometimes gets in my hair and then my hair is greasy, but to me, it's worth it to save my lips!

Ever since, I've been carrying the tin in my work bag so that it's always handy. With the quick shift to wintry and arid temperatures, the lip therapy has been the perfect solution for my dry, chapped lips. But there have also been some added benefits of the Vaseline lip therapy. As a museum professional, I'm constantly washing my hands. And that in combination with the winter conditions, my hands are dry. I've been applying the lion therapy to my knuckles ans in just a few days I've noticed a reduced redness and itchiness! I'm loving the multipurpose.

The tin is small and easily fits in a pocket. It's easy to open, unless the tin and your hands aren't completely dry or free of oils (ie: lotion, grease from food, etc.) It was nearly impossible for me to open the tin while walking outside while it was raining lightly. I love how smooth this product goes on and how silky my lips feel! The cold winter weather has been harsh on my lips, but since I started using Vaseline Lip Therapy, I haven't had the normal cracking and peeling that normally happens during this time of year. I like that there isn't a scent too- I forget I have it on until I rub my lips together and they glide so nicely. I recommend this product based on my experience. I am looking forward to trying the other types available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a big fan of petroleum products, but I received this for free for testing purposes so I gave it a try. I do like that it does not contain alcohol like many commercial lip balms. I would have liked to try the Aloe or Cocoa Butter versions, but I received Original. It sticks around for a long time, like a lot of the all natural lip balms I am used to using. It's a little bit "slippery" for my liking. That of course being due to the Petrolatum. Overall, I would say that it would not be my first choice for my chapped lips, but I would definitely choose it before many (if not most) major commercial chapsticks and lip balms out there.
