Vaseline Lip Therapy Lip Balm Tin Original 0.6 oz

I was born with a defect in my bottom lip that required reconstructive surgery. My bottom lip is made from skin grafts and cant make it's own moisture like normal lips. Vaseline lip therapy has been a life safer! I love the tins bc they provide a lot of moisture and are easy to carry in my pocket. I am never without one. I have been using these for years. I have one within arms reach at all times. I LOVE these.

I use this daily to protect and heal my lips. It also helps to heal cold sores that are threatening to erupt on me. I get a metal taste on my lips. I will then apply a thick layer of Vaseline Lip therapy to that area. After a few hours (or sometimes repeated applications), the area is back to normal. This is a Godsend for me! My only complaint is it sometimes gets in my hair and then my hair is greasy, but to me, it's worth it to save my lips!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE the new tin! I was not a fan of the little mini vaseline container style. That was too hard to apply and use the product. The new tins are simple, I LOVE that they are gender neutral because my boyfriend loves it too. The 1st thing I did was read the ingredients...I am very happy it is only TWO ingredients and not a bunch of chemicals and artificial colors. I will definitely be buying another tin! This is great for your lips when they are super chapped and dry. I like to use it before bed when my lips need some moisture overnight. I will also use it when I exfoliate my lips with my brush from my real technique set. After I exfoliate, I re-apply more to give my lips extra hydration. I can also use I little of this on the tips of my lashes before I apply my mascara to prevent clumping. It doesn't affect how the mascara applies, other then avoiding clumping, or effect the longevity of my mascara. This is a great product with many uses, even uses you wouldn't normally think of. Love this product and will buy again, totally worth my money.

Ever since, I've been carrying the tin in my work bag so that it's always handy. With the quick shift to wintry and arid temperatures, the lip therapy has been the perfect solution for my dry, chapped lips. But there have also been some added benefits of the Vaseline lip therapy. As a museum professional, I'm constantly washing my hands. And that in combination with the winter conditions, my hands are dry. I've been applying the lion therapy to my knuckles ans in just a few days I've noticed a reduced redness and itchiness! I'm loving the multipurpose.

I own chapsticks and lip balms from just about every brand you can think of but nothing works as well or as fast as Vaseline. I've been using Vaseline since I was a kid for chapped lips and I am ecstatic to find out they have a travel size now. My daughter and I have both had dry, cracked lips this winter and Vaseline has healed us overnight every time. I definitely feel like it works better overnight rather than during the day. I use it every night before bed and always wake up with soft, smooth lips everytime. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I need to try it when I have really chapped lips to see if it helps heal them! I can't wait to try the other flavors! :)

I always put some sort of lip treatment on at bedtime to let it work over night. I've been using this for a few weeks now and I'm loving the way it makes my lips feel in the morning. It's a little thick for daily use but for night it's perfect! My lipstick seems to go on smoother during the day than before I started using it. I also like the little tin it is in! It doesn't roll off my nightstand like a tub does.I could also see it being easier to find in a purse or bag. I've also been rubbing it on my cuticles at night as well.

I love the way my lips feel when I wear it! It is a touch greasier than what I usually wear, (hence the 4 stars rather than 5) but this lasts three times as long as other brands. Overall I would definitely buy this and use it all the time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a big fan of petroleum products, but I received this for free for testing purposes so I gave it a try. I do like that it does not contain alcohol like many commercial lip balms. I would have liked to try the Aloe or Cocoa Butter versions, but I received Original. It sticks around for a long time, like a lot of the all natural lip balms I am used to using. It's a little bit "slippery" for my liking. That of course being due to the Petrolatum. Overall, I would say that it would not be my first choice for my chapped lips, but I would definitely choose it before many (if not most) major commercial chapsticks and lip balms out there.
