I my wife uses this a lot for cheese when we make our own pizza at home and says she likes that it so easy to grade up the cheese easily now. The first one we purchased had a flaw and we took it back but bought the same one hoping it didn't. And it hasn't messed up so we think it's a keeper this time. The thing has some weight to it so it doesn't slid around when using it, it suctions down to the counter easy and doesn't move at all, making it easy to use. My wife had a manual grinder before and man does she like this one especially she 68 and it makes it so easy to use instead of having to hand crank it, just turn it on and push the food down to the cutting head, so yes she likes it a lot better. Caught it on sale and didn't pay that much for it and my wife says for what it is you'll love it after you start using it, makes her life a littler easier and taking it apart for cleaning is very easy too, which she said there is less really to clean than the other hand one. She likes it so it must be ok then.

This works great for grating hard Parmesan and softer cheddar. Really happy with the function and ease of use.

The way its made allows cheese to get in between and behind the shredding attachment. Which causes for cleaning it constantly during shredding. Or else it jans up.

This Cheese/salad grater has a major design flaw. The fasteners on the blades are backwards so when you start the grater the just fall out. Taking it back tomorrow.

The worst thing ever it simply would not do the job very disappointing
