I have Euro plush pillow-top mattress around 14”, give or take an inch with the pillow top.
Three stars because the jury is still out. I'll give 4 if things hold up after washing and drying.
The color matches the pics. The bedding feels comfortable on my skin. It keeps me warm—sometimes to the point I have to take the comforter off to cool down though. This still works for ME, but if you want little to no heat/sweat, this won't be good for you. The real test of warmth will be in the winter, especially if we get a cold snap where temps can get in the 30s-40s.
The comforter is large enough to cover all sides of the mattress and reaches all sides of my bed frame, but it will only reach close to the floor if your bed frame is low enough or you buy a larger comforter if sold separately.
The fitted sheet isn't going anywhere! The deep pockets fit securely several inches under the mattress at the corners, and it stays in place at the sides. If you have a 16”, it seems like it may fit; it's worth a try despite the seller description. If it doesn't fit, maybe a set of those sheet bands will keep it secure.
The pillowcases have a flap at the opening to help keep the pillow and case in place, but the best fit will depend on the size of your pillows.
CONS: It's lightweight, but based on the pics, I thought it would be a little thicker/heavier, which is what I wanted. It arrived with some of the tufts flattened. I don't know if the stitching came loose or if it's a manufacturing error. I'm going to have to sew them to get the uniformed look.
The comforter is DETACHED from the filling except where the tufts are sewn. I didn't notice when I took it out of the package. I noticed today that It's not even attached at the seam at the edges of the comforter. I'm concerned the fill will shrivel and mat up during washing and drying. I have to decide if I'm going take a chance and see, or try to mitigate it and take the time to hand-sew the fill to the edges to help it stay in place as long as possible. Maybe I'll test a corner with a handwashing first to test it. Had I known it was detached, I wouldn't have bought it. It's too late to return it. I'll come back and update another time. Maybe after a few washes if it doesn't shrivel with the first one.
