I believe that the mattress is a bit light weight but the Granddaughter is good with it. My 12 year old Granddaughter was able to assemble it by herself with no supervision. But she is very mechanically inclined and has worked with me in our shop for several years. The bed appears sturdy.

Absolutely love this daybed frame. It's durable and fits the space I needed it for perfectly. The only thing i reccomend placing a thin base board under whichever mattress you decide to choose.

It was easy to assemble and seems like very good quality. Perfect for my niece in her new room. She loves the way it looks and it is sturdy enough to jump around on. The daybed was also very affordable.

Immediately upon opening I noticed chipped enamel and black buff scratches on the bed frame. I also do not like the appearance of the silver screw %26 washers on the front side of the bed.
