I tried several brands of ice maker prior to finding this one. It has all of the features of a unit twice the price and has been trouble-free after six months. Ice bin stays full and we use it a lot, especially with two teens in the house. I only have to fill the side container once a day. And since it recycles any melted water we can leave it running if we are going to be away for a few days. It fits perfectly under our cabinet and the noise level is barely noticed.

It's an awesome machine. Makes ice really quick, and they come out frozen. Nice drip holes to prevent getting a block of ice instead of nuggets. Using distilled water makes it so you don't get that calsium buildup which causes the feezing bits to stay contaminate free.

We love our ice maker, and I'm saying this after having it for well over a month. It works great, and everyone in our house loves this type of ice. I also really like that you don't have to use the extra water tank. If it's just me home and the kids are away at school, I usually don't use it because we aren't going through as much ice. As the ice melts, the water is recycled and made into ice again. If I fill the extra tank when we aren't using much ice, once all the ice melts there can be more water than the main reservoir can hold, which can cause it to leak. That isn't a problem with the machine—you just have to use the extra tank when you actually need the extra water capacity. Once I figured that out, it's been great!!!

Absolutely Love this nugget icemaker! Makes ice as you use it out of the bin so that you Always have a full bucket of ice! Bin keeps ice frozen, if any melt off occurs it drops to the bottom tank and gets made into ice again. Maker is generally pretty quiet, every now %26 then we'll hear it as it gears up. LED panel lets you know all the things , such as “ice full” , “add water” “cleaning required” etc. The pale blue LED light is cozy and lights up the ice bin only. There is however an option to turn that feature off if one does not prefer it lit up. Easy assembly, with straightforward instructions on starting up the machine to maintenance guidance. Highly recommend!!

I bought this for a replacement of another model that looked exactly like this and so far it works just as good at that one. I'm very happy with the amount of ice, the time it keeps the ice cold and the ice itself. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a countertop ice machine that makes the coveted nugget ice!

I have used other ice makers before, this one is my favorite! It makes nugget ice and lots of it. The best part about machine is the reservoir on the side. The maker itself is quiet other than when the ice is dropping you hear the clinking sound. The self cleaning feature is great. It's easy to activate to clean. I like the self cleaning feature is great. It's easy to activate to clean. the options of color, I chose the green one. I would recommend this icemaker.

I'm thoroughly satisfied with this ice maker it,s so much easier to add water with a side water tank. A well made ice maker also self cleaning which is much better than my previous ice maker which was hard to keep clean. I would definitely recommend this then cheaper brands. iIt makes ice chips which are much better than most cube makers. This company has been in business for 20 years.

I had a GE Opal but it was rather pricey. This is a good ice machine. It cane be a bit noisy but it is tolerable since it in the kitchen. The ice is good and it is fairly quick at making the ice. Machine is compact and the reservoir is plenty for my husband and myself.

used it for 3 days and it quit making ice this is the second unit purchased for replacement both have stopped making ice within a week not recommended to buy it is the machine that does have the amount of sonic ice we use just doesn't work constantly
