I absolutely love this vegetable peeler! I had what I thought was a good peeler, until I bought THIS set. It has put all the others that I have tried over the years to shame. The blade is so sharp it is like slicing through butter!! I t is also very comfortable in my hand. My last one would give me blisters if I was peeling too much. This new one feels very cushiony when I'm using it. I sure wish I would have had these two peelers when my children were still home.

Had to peal a lot of butternut squash and the silver peeler worked very well for that task. It has a serated edge and leaves a textured surface on the vegetable, not smooth like a traditional peeler. Not a problem for me,. The black peeler is good and has a smooth edge. Nice construction, sharp edges, works great.

Once I realized I had to remove the blue plastic on the shredder, I loved both of these additions to my kitchen - LOL! To date I have used them for peeling both potatoes and carrots and for removing the unwanted strings on celery stalks. They both peel beautifully and it's great to have a backup should something happen to one piece. They are easy to clean and the design makes both pieces easy to handle and use.

Easy to hold very sturdy replaced our old one due to blade failure. These are as sturdy as the good old day ones and hope to have as long. they both fit your hands perfectly and do an excellent job peeling, Great value and quality built.

Before I bought this peeler, I had another one that I absolutely loved. Somehow, while preparing either Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner in 2023, I think it was inadvertently thrown in the trash. This is the only peeler that feel good in my hand perfectly. It works so well that I find myself peeling too much of whatever I'm working on. I love them both!

I can peel any and everything between these two peelers. Especially like the tip of the one peeler that lets me get the eyes out of potatoes. The more I use these peelers, the more I think of ways to use them. It feels great not to be tied down to certain recipes and/or foods because I didn't have a way to peel or clean things.

I've only used the swivel blade for peeling potatoes and carrots, but the blade tends to clog. Why? I don't know. Peeling carrots it works fine. Peeling Gold potatoes, it clogs, slowing down the process. Maybe it won't clog with russets, I don't know. I have an old one that's all metal, with some rust development where the blade pivots in the handle, probably purchased from Walmart sometime in the 80's or 90's, that's somewhat dull from years of use and not as fancy as the one being reviewed, but it doesn't clog. I think it was an Echo brand. The new one, the pair if you will, I don't recommend because it clogs and you have to stop and clear it out a couple of times per potato. Therefor I don't recommend it. Maybe I'll figure out why at some time and change my review, but is it something I would tell everybody, "you've got to get one of these?" No. I haven't tried the Y-shaped one yet. It looks like it's designed for slicing cheese, maybe.

For the Y shape peeler I don't like how flimsy the black is fit into the Y handle. The handle itself looks and feels great though. Wish they sell replacement blades too just in case. For the straight peeler, the hallow side of the tip is on the blade side. So if I want to scoop out a bad spot on a potato for example I'd have to flip the peeler, then flip it back to continue peeling. Strange design. Both feel solid in hand (the handles), flimsy blades anyway.

Neither one of these peelers work well The blade doesn't stay stationary on the smaller peeler which makes it very difficult to use. The larger one doesn't work very well either. It's like working with a very dull knife.

FedEx did not deliver this to my apartment I'm not sure where they delivered it to there is a picture of the delivery it looks like they might have delivered it to number one building instead of delivering it to my building I've never had so many issues with wrong deliveries as I do with FedEx and it's always in the evening deliveries that gets screwed up now I want my potato peelers I don't care how you get them to me send me a whole new item of them the picture that they show is not my apartment where it was delivered
