[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're already loving our Vego Composter. We've used it a few times already and our trash/waste levels have gone down significantly. Easy to use, smart technology allows us to monitor from our phone. So far we have been using the Vego compost setting. Everyday we add to it until we're ready to start a fresh batch. We sprinkle the finished product around the edges of our beds or into beds we're planning in our vegetable garden. Couldn't recommend it more!

I compost outdoors already and thought I would enjoy quickly composting in smaller quantities to add to houseplants and seed starts. I have used this item 6 times in one month and thoroughly love the product. The sound has a low hum while running that doesn't bother me. It holds a good amount of compostable material. I clean the material from the interior parts after each use. I look forward to incorporating the material in my garden, houseplants, and even to my outdoor compost bin. The picture below is material created after about 4 cycles and ready to use!

Great product! I love being able to process my scraps so they compost in the ground faster. Its easy to use and relatively quiet. It is in my laundry room which opens to the kitchen and a lot of the time we leave the door open. There is a bit of a smell, on the sweet side. Could be worse. Not bad enough for me to move it. Glad I went with this option over others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now had this for about 3 months and completed about 20 compost cycles. I do find it does a great job to slowly create dry compost from a full bucket of scraps. I like to use vego mode and will sometimes add during the cycle but usually I let it run uninterrupted. Unfortunately I couldn't use the app for long as we switched to 5G internet which isn't compatible. While I had the app tho it was helpful to check the status of the compost run (not much else). I had to clear a grinder jam a couple times but luckily it was at the end of a cycle so was easy to clean out the bucket then use the compost. I will say there is a faint smell when it's composting but not overwhelming. Very little noise. Very easy to use this composter after a few tries, and it is esthetically pleasing in the kitchen. I really like it.

Such a nice option to have a beautiful compact composter right in the kitchen. We can barely hear it and there is absolutely NO smell. We cut/break up our food items that we add, just to make it easier on the device (personal preference). I love adding homemade nutrition to my garden beds. I purchased the subscription for the tablets and carbon packs, which was cheaper than buying individual packs.

The composter has broken down everything we have put in it so far, makes great compost out of eggshells, vegetable and fruit scraps. I have been also breaking down paper towels and paper rolls. I would highly recommend.

I'm impressed with its capacity as well as the Vego-mode enabling me to continue to add food scraps during a cycle. My long, cold winters make outdoor composting unproductive. By using the Kitchen Composter, I can collect finished compost in 5gal buckets to be added to my garden in Spring.

Bought a scratch and dent version a little over a month ago. I've only used the Vego mode so far, but it works well and controls odor. My only complaint is that it's extremely difficult to get the bucket in and out of the machine to empty it. It's a fight every time. This could be because my machine is “scratch and dent”, but if I'd known it would be like this, I'd have purchased something different.

Overall I love the composter. It's really nice to not be throwing away food that can help my garden. Once a cycle is done, I add the compost to my compost pile since I know it is not compost on its own. When they say odorless. , it is not. Even if I change the filter, there are times when it smells so bad I have to set it outside. It's not super noisy, and I can continue to add compost to the machine while a cycle is running.
