[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're already loving our Vego Composter. We've used it a few times already and our trash/waste levels have gone down significantly. Easy to use, smart technology allows us to monitor from our phone. So far we have been using the Vego compost setting. Everyday we add to it until we're ready to start a fresh batch. We sprinkle the finished product around the edges of our beds or into beds we're planning in our vegetable garden. Couldn't recommend it more!

I compost outdoors already and thought I would enjoy quickly composting in smaller quantities to add to houseplants and seed starts. I have used this item 6 times in one month and thoroughly love the product. The sound has a low hum while running that doesn't bother me. It holds a good amount of compostable material. I clean the material from the interior parts after each use. I look forward to incorporating the material in my garden, houseplants, and even to my outdoor compost bin. The picture below is material created after about 4 cycles and ready to use!

I'm loving my Vego composter! It's well-built, aesthetic and minimalist for living on my kitchen countertop, simple to use, and makes turning food scraps into rich compost a breeze. The design is compact yet holds a surprising amount, perfect for my small garden. It's a great way to cut back on waste and nourish my soil naturally. Also love that it's odor-free and quiet, which is another way it stands out from other composters. Highly recommend!

Great product! I love being able to process my scraps so they compost in the ground faster. Its easy to use and relatively quiet. It is in my laundry room which opens to the kitchen and a lot of the time we leave the door open. There is a bit of a smell, on the sweet side. Could be worse. Not bad enough for me to move it. Glad I went with this option over others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe how I lived without this device. I have the raised Vego beds and an outdoor compost bin. But during the colder winter weather, compostables don't break down very quickly. Now I can make usable compost in a days time! And it's also the perfect texture for use in my houseplants. If I don't want to use a Vego tab, I will make slightly coarser compost which I can add to my asparagus bed over the winter. Plus my “scratch and dent” discounted model had nothing wrong with it. Only a small amount of dirt/charcoal smeared on the case. Bonus points for it being so quiet!

I had some reservations until I utilized it. The items are not completely composted, but it's a step in the right direction and I can place it in my raised bed, in ground beds or in my outdoor compost. My primary objective is to reduce waste and utilize my small microclimate garden to its full potential. It's not essential, but I am extremely pleased with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd give it 4. 5stars. I have the new kitchen composter and love it. Hard to open at first but then loosens enough to be manageable. I wish it was bigger because we fill it so quickly, needing to turn it on (Vego mode) twice a week. Wishing I could just dump it outside instead of mixing it with soil, but it's really just kitchen scraps made into dirt, and I don't want to entice the wildlife. This will be less of an issue as I turn over the beds in the fall and spring. My neighbors have graciously offered to take any extra! But I love making so much less garbage, feeding my beds, and it's 'easy to use. Good job, Vego!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely Love It!! every home should have one, the amount of food scraps we are keeping out of our garbage, reducing the amount of garbage and smells in the bins, less guilt over getting rid of leftovers, and finding second uses for non eaten foods, way faster composting total game changer.

I was happy with it until I realized the vital bolt it's function depends on had snapped. I reached out to Vego, but because I noticed it FOUR DAYS after the one year warranty they won't do anything to repair or replace it. I'm a single person household, so it got under a year of LIGHT use as I didn't unbox and begin using it immediately. I guess I shouldn't have been an early adopter so I could have seen reviews of whether it would last before spending so much money
