Vego Smart Kitchen Waste Composter, 4L Electric Composter for Kitchen 5 Modes Weight-Based Smart Compost Bin with App Odorless Auto-Cleaning Food Waste Compost Machine Indoor, White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now had this for about 3 months and completed about 20 compost cycles. I do find it does a great job to slowly create dry compost from a full bucket of scraps. I like to use vego mode and will sometimes add during the cycle but usually I let it run uninterrupted. Unfortunately I couldn't use the app for long as we switched to 5G internet which isn't compatible. While I had the app tho it was helpful to check the status of the compost run (not much else). I had to clear a grinder jam a couple times but luckily it was at the end of a cycle so was easy to clean out the bucket then use the compost. I will say there is a faint smell when it's composting but not overwhelming. Very little noise. Very easy to use this composter after a few tries, and it is esthetically pleasing in the kitchen. I really like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely Love It!! every home should have one, the amount of food scraps we are keeping out of our garbage, reducing the amount of garbage and smells in the bins, less guilt over getting rid of leftovers, and finding second uses for non eaten foods, way faster composting total game changer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used my composter twice. It couldn't be easier to use. Just load up add some water and push desired outcome and forget. The app tells you when it's done. I've used my composter twice on my house plants since they need a little TLC.

I had some reservations until I utilized it. The items are not completely composted, but it's a step in the right direction and I can place it in my raised bed, in ground beds or in my outdoor compost. My primary objective is to reduce waste and utilize my small microclimate garden to its full potential. It's not essential, but I am extremely pleased with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe how I lived without this device. I have the raised Vego beds and an outdoor compost bin. But during the colder winter weather, compostables don't break down very quickly. Now I can make usable compost in a days time! And it's also the perfect texture for use in my houseplants. If I don't want to use a Vego tab, I will make slightly coarser compost which I can add to my asparagus bed over the winter. Plus my “scratch and dent” discounted model had nothing wrong with it. Only a small amount of dirt/charcoal smeared on the case. Bonus points for it being so quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit I was a little sceptical about it working as advertised. Boy was I surprised and pleased with the results. A great way to use the kitchen scraps. I'm still amazed at how well it works and I have used it dozens of times. My sister ordered one after hearing my praises. I'm anxious for her to try it and hear what she thinks about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works wonderfully so far, with little to no smell. My small back yard compost bin takes a year or more to break down scraps. This product has sped that process up significantly, so I can use the compost sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Vego Garden Kitchen Composter for a birthday gift. I compost outdoors already and thought I would enjoy quickly composting in smaller quantities to add to houseplants and seed starts. I have used this item 6 times in one month and thoroughly love the product. The sound has a low hum while running that doesn't bother me. It holds a good amount of compostable material. I clean the material from the interior parts after each use. I look forward to incorporating the material in my garden, houseplants, and even to my outdoor compost bin. The picture below is material created after about 4 cycles and ready to use!

I liked this composter at first but the first one lasted only about 2 months before overheating and failing. Vego replaced it but now the second one is doing the same thing. Their chat assistant referred me to email correspondence and now they are not responding. I do not recommend this composter.

Do not buy this! It's junk that only works when it wants to. I have owned this machine less than 30 days and I've had nothing but trouble with it. It keeps saying the bucket isn't aligned inside. But it is aligned. Inserted properly and clean. I've done all of the troubleshooting instructions and it still will not work. I've successfully been able to complete a Vego cycle twice. That's it. Not worth the money.
