I work at the post office which is very dirty and am always worried about putting my leather backpacks in my locker. I use this to hang them on the side of my locker and it works great. I would definitely see how this could also work in the garage to hold things and organize.

We currently use it to hang and keep our dogs leash off the ground in the garage but you could really use it for organizing anything! The magnet is strong and study. The velcro strap is very easy to wrap anything to hang. Very user friendly.

I did not try a full 10 pounds because I did not need to but it's effective to hold my cords to my lawnmower, and my water hose. I think the design could be slightly better because there's not much magnetic things to attach it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very handy gadgets. My favorite part is the magnet that goes anywhere- just slap it on your tool box, shelf, or even fridge. I like the sturdy fabric strap and the strong magnet. The strap does take an extra second to feed through the clasp when doing and undoing it. So it's not fast. But it is very handy and reliable.

The magnet is super strong but the velcro strap can't get around my husbands thickest cables he was hoping to hang. It would be awesome if multiple sizes were available. It's very durable and hangs well on the toolbox to keep the cables out of the way.
