Velocity Fitness Programmable Magnetic Rower

The Velocity rower arrived quickly and in real good condition. Not like your typical imports where the packaging is all tore up, this gave my wife and I a since of confidence right away. The rower assembly was a breeze and everything worked without a hitch. Using the rower and the programmed workouts is what we enjoy the most. You choice of a light row down a lazy river or dipping your oars into white water rapids filled with molasses. Work as hard or as easy as you want with no stress and abuse to joints and such. Seems very well built but will take time to know just how durable the unit is.

I've had my machine for about 3 weeks. It was very easy to assemble and I was on it right away. Love the machine - great for the price. It is very stable - I'm glad I didn't go with a cheaper version. I love the heart rate program and the chest strap works great. Super quiet so I don't bother anyone with an early morning work out. I was surprised to have sore abs after the first week. Great full body workout.

The Velocity rower is solid and quiet. The controls are intuitive. I've already recommended it to several of my friends.

Good product, good value. Just needs better operating instructions

The Velocity rowing machine is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and smooth in operation. It takes up a narrow space and adds a sleek look to the house landscape. This is new to me so has been used a few time to date. The programmable setting is understandable yet the resistance smoothly increases or decreases with time. I think this will be great for days too cold to escape for a long walk or outdoor work. Nice machine that should stand years of use.

I'm hesitant to leave a review because I know nothing about rowers and my requirements are simple - get the heart rate up. That being said, it works great for me. A core feature I wanted was quiet so I can watch TV while sweating. As the resistence is magnetic it is very quiet. It's solidly built. Assembly was easy. It is bulky and heavy. I have enough room that I don't have to move it to store. That might be a hassle.

The machine was delivered as promised, except the electronic display was out of place and slight damage to the monitor. The monitor did not work properly after assembly. Only part of the display was activated and it made unusual sounds when starting and stopping. The machine itself seems to function fine. It is quiet. The hardest setting provides good upper body resistance but not nearly as much lower body, so I'm a bit disappointed with that. The seat glides smoothly. I doubt I will use the chest monitor. Decent product for the money.

The product was easy to assemble, less than an hour, and worked great for the first few times of use, but then a wheel broke on the seat, causing a loud, wobbly ride. The company promptly responded to my emails, and have shipped a replacement wheel. I hope this is a fluke, as the machine did seem very nice prior to the wheel issue.

The product seems cheaply made. Finally unpacked it and the screen display is not very visible, shipping appeared to have banged it sound and some minor damage are visible.
