Velocity Foldable Indoor Rower with Heart Rate Monitor

Our daughter made a D1 crew team and had to train over break. We purchased a cheaper model and it did not have the proper features for her required training. We upgraded to this one and it was worth the increased cost. Very well made. The electronics is high end. Coincidentally I was in a commercial gym the other day and I saw this model. If you think you are going to be serious about rowing this is a good middle model between the economy models and the super high end stuff. I would say it is a great bang for the buck.

Easy to assemble. Appears to be made of quality materials and construction. I like the full range of motion and smooth action. Fairly quite for an air resistance unit too. Also pleasantly surprised to learn that the resistance is adjustable via computer controlled magnets which is not true for other flywheel /air resistance units. Only have it assembled and working work one day, but all looks good so far. I haven't gotten the wireless heart rate monitor to work yet, it might just need a new battery or need a more educated operator. The discounted price here at Walmart is better than I have found anywhere else. All in all I am very pleased with this unit. I would almost give it a 5 but I would want more time with the unit first (and want to get the heart monitor to work).
