This is a staple at my house. We use it for homemade mac and cheese most often and it's always a hit! Rich and creamy, can't go wrong with it. Also great as a chip dip if you wanted to make a Rotel dip.
We've enjoyed Kraft's Velveeta (32 oz) for over 1/2 a century. Recently a local store had the "Sharp Cheddar Velveeta (32 oz)" stocked on their shelves. We decided to give it a try. Wow! It was great! Wished we would have bought more. We've bragged about it to numerous friends and family!! Unfortunately it is no longer available to us here in the Placeville, CA or Sacramento, CA. It's a real bummer cuz we'd love to have it to make "grilled cheese sandwiches" and to use in several recipes.
I know a lot of people don't prefer this type of cheese, but if you give it a chance and you learn some of the recipes you wouldn't use any other cheese, this is the best when it comes to tips grilled cheese, mac & cheese, and some eggs, I make a soup out of it, my family's been using this forever we don't venture off to the generic type, this is the only Friend we will buy, highly recommend it
I use this for my Mac and cheese. The cheese can get really this, as I found out when first using it. A little for a pot of elbows is enough to make it creamy. I don't use salt with the elbow noodles because the cheese helps with that and helps my family who is on a low salt diet. [product:velveeta-original-cheese-50]
The consistency is thick and creamy when melted. I am a repeated consumer, I always buy it. I get from a grocery store. I would not improve just make is cheaper. It is healthy especially when they have 2% milk in it. Yes I will recommend people to use it.
I love making different things with this cheese. It's probably not on the healthy side. But it makes awesome Mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes. Velveeta melts quicker and better the most off-brand I would say if you're looking for some good mac and cheese scalloped potatoes whatever you can think of I would recommend a box of Velveeta.
I use this for home made Mac and cheese it's really good
Smooth, salty, and melts beautifully. Stores easily in the cupboard til needed. I always add it to my homemade Mac & cheese and chili cheese chip dip. We've used it in my family for years!
I usually only use this for cheese dip and chicken spaghetti. It's a bit on the pricy side and the cheese is super thick! But it tastes really good and you get a lot in the box. All around it's really good.
Not too into cheese since it's not good for me to have too much dairy. This particular velveeta cheese is okay for quick easy ingredient needed for meal and better than kraft but highly recommend that you go with more organic cheese if you want a more natural taste.
