My nine year old grandson just loves this horn
the people at this walmart where the best ever. They did everything to help me the way i wanted to do the sale. Didn't open the box since it is a xmas present for my wife
Reminds me of the horns we used "Back in the Day." Fun.
This product is adorable - reminds me of a long time ago. The horn sound is awesome and the shape is unique. The only problem I've had is that the piece within the air pump that fits into the metal body of the horn (from which the sound comes) comes out. I bought this as a way to get my students' attention in class, and after the first time I used it, (embarassingly) I went to squeeze it and it made no sound because that inner part came out. It's easy to fix though - you just need to remove the pump off of the metal part and wiggle the pump around until the piece falls out, then stick it back into the metal. I guess I could super glue it into the metal part so it won't fall out again! I think this is a great buy for the price, is fun to use, and is just nostalgic! Kids LOVE it.
I put it on my golf cart, works fine!!
I put this on a electric cart, and it works fine. Sure wakes people up when they don't hear you coming.
easy to use.
The metal part is not what makes the sound. Inside the rubber part (that you squeeze) is a hard plastic part which is not glued well. It came loose and was rattling inside the rubber part that you squeeze. The rubber piece pulls off - rotate it back and forth as you pull. Turn the rubber part so the hole is facing down. You will likely need to shake and try a few times but pretty quickly one end of the hard plastic noisemaker will point down into the hole. I then pushed the hard noisemaker through simply by pushing the opposite end of the rubber part. Once it's out, put it into the metal part to decide which way you want it to point (assemble the rubber part on temprarily to test it#. I used super glue just now on the plastic noisemaker, then slid it into the metal part. Blow on it a few times so the glue hardens #it need humidity# - don't put your mouth on it though! I found it 100x easier to put the metal ring on the rubber ball before sliding it back onto the metal part #the part that looke like a tuba). IT IS VERY VERY LOUD! And you should tets it in the store if they are not all the same loudness...and it it'd not longer loud, it's becasue th e noisemaker is moving. As I played with it, I noticed it's not nearly as loud if not positioned correctly. Glue it into the "tuba", not the rubber.
This horn just not loud enough, now the pink one for girls is very loud. I took this one back and purchased the pink one.
I purchased the horn and received it in the mail on time. The horn blew once than the device that creates the sound broke. The horn after one use no longer functions.
