I bought this because it looked beautiful but when I got the mini Venus flytrap terrarium it looked better than the photo,it came with instructions on care, I can't wait for it to get even bigger(grows nicely!) ,so I can buy soil and repot it! I keep it on my bed room desk to cheer me up and it works! It's very small so I keep it on the table so my cats can use the window! I bought this just to get a starter clone of B52. I immediately broke open the bottle with a hammer, thoroughly washed off the blue gel, and transplanted three very delicate "clumps" to long fiber sphagnum moss. It is now 10 months later and all three clumps have grown very well. They don't have full size traps yet, but at this rate of growth I think I'll get the mega giant traps next year (they're going into dormancy now as it's November).

This little darling is so cute.. it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be.. but it is a tiny baby.. I put it in some light.. not direct.. and in 4 days it has almost doubled in size. ! I am looking forward to feeding it.. no problem with little flying critters.. I live very close to a swamp.. and the no see'ms need to be controlled.. hopefully this will do it.. I have tried everything else.. Really wanted to do something else this summer.. but chase bugs. Only dilemma is what to name it..

Its very adorable! The seller says its about 2 inches, its a baby!!!!it is young and healthy. I feel like a wizard because this plant looks magical. All my friends want one. The more you feed it the more it will grow eventually you will have to move it out of the bottle. You have to always make sure there is a bug in your plant. Love this plant. Research it and take care of it properly.

If you follow the instructions these are pretty neat. They look pretty cool as they grow in their little terrariums. I bought 2 and one molded over and died but it was due to someone curiously popping the cork off, which the instructions say not to do until you're ready to take them out. At 8 months since purchase, the surviving plant is looking good. The only thing is it doesn't look much like a Venus flytrap. But I'm not super knowledgeable about plants so that could be normal.
