Vera Bradley Women's Cotton Small Backpack Kingbird Plaid

I absolutely love this bag. I have tried many bags over the years from both small to one of their school backpacks as my daily use bag. I like to be well prepared for whatever comes at me and I can fit everything I need in the backpack. It's fits my iPad perfectly at the back. The purple pattern is so cute and exactly what I was looking for. It holds normal sized water bottles in both pockets. It's just an all around great bag. Definitely would recommend.

I've been a rather avid Vera Bradley customer for quite a few years now and this may be one of my favorite patterns yet! Plus I love how this backpack is miniature yet spacious and it fits all of my various over-preparer needs! I highly recommend, two thumbs up!

First I love the bag in person. It's so colorful and cute perfect for the summer or if you're just a sea turtle lover like me . 2) customer service was amazing . My package got lost in the mail and they were able to send me a free one with express shipping . They were so helpful and I would use them again if anything else happens with any other package I buy.

I love this small backpack! Just the right size to use for an everyday purse ! There are plenty of pockets and a zip pocket inside! The side pockets hold a small umbrella or small water bottle perfectly. The print is pretty. I have gotten several compliments on this bag.

I thought it wouldn't be big enough, but I was wrong. It has so many pockets! As a matter of fact I have trouble keeping track of what's in each pocket. I prefer to carry a backpack over a purse because I use a walker. I tried so many Vera Bradley backpacks before settling on this one.

I haven't switched over from my cross body yet. I think I will like it. Two things I wish were different: my Samsung phone does not fit. If it did, I would prefer some sort of easy closure. I would also prefer a pocket on the inside for my wallet rather than in the exposed zipper section on my back. A key strap inside, as others have mentioned would be good too. None of those are deal breakers. I was happy to purchase the backpack on sale. Thank you.

I had thought when I ordered my bag for embroidering that I picked the lighter thread color. When my bag came I can say that I was less than pleased to see it was embroidered with dark thread that you can barely see & not in the area where it was initially posted to be.

The new backpack style is very disappointing. I would have loved to like it, but I just couldn't. I received this backpack style in Friends at Hogwarts as a birthday gift. Here is what I have to say about it. First of all, the front pocket is off centered and very small. Not large enough like the old backpack style. Second of all, the dyes in the fabric are easy to rub off on things like light colored materials and human hands. Lastly, Vera Bradley's quality is lacking and going downhill. For such a hefty price tag I kind of would have expected better quality in the items I received. My advice for anyone looking into Vera Bradley is to look elsewhere. You can probably find some better quality items for the same price at places like Macy's. I'm going to start saving my money and taking it elsewhere or shop second hand for the older VB items.

Disappointed-I love the older version of this backpack. A little bigger, longer shoulder straps, more flexible fabrics, and the outside pockets were better along with inside slip in holders. Went back to the old one. ??if you have a good design-why do you always need to change things?

After ordering it and told it was in stock and set the delivery date, I received an email telling me it was out of stock! I called and they said they would not be getting any more in!! I ordered another small backpack and it should be delivered tomorrow. (April 3rd)
