Veradek Block Series Trough 36" Plastic Planter w/ Bracket - Black

I got two of these and they felt expensive when I ordered them. That being said once I picked up the box I knew they were solid. The quality is amazing and They exceeded all my expectations. The're bigger than I expected and look amazing. I'll have these for the next decade easy.

I am a landscape architect in need of quality products for clients but purchased 2 of these planters for my home. From the quick product arrival and including the packaging, I am pleased. Though I don't need the brackets for hanging from a railing, the quality of those components are impressive. I wish they offered this same planter without those connection brackets. All in all, very pleased.

These are awesome. I've got a naked neighbor and after a year, I'm finally over seeing her and her man friends. So I got these to fill with screener plants. And they're awesome. Heavy. Sturdy. Modern. I got extra zip ties in case but I'm honestly not worried about them going anywhere. One order was missing a couple parts, but they were VERY fast to replace the missing bits. Good customer service. I'll be buying more.

This planter is quite substantial. It is heavy and comes with good strong brackets. You would not want to hang this on a flimsy or weak railing. Will be using as a railing planter however, can also be used without the brackets as a rectangular planter on wide patio stairs or anywhere else you'd like a low rectangular planter. Good rectangular planters can be hard to find.

Solid and modern but HUGE! They are really tall so you need quite big plants to fill them, I didn't bother taking the plants out of the little containers because if this was filled with soil I wouldn't be able to lift it. Not great for skinny railings, I tied it back on my railing which was 3 1/2 inches. I've had it for one summer so far have not tried in the winter but so far it's holding up and looks really chic- i've gotten compliments on them!

The planter is definitely heavy and beautiful to look at. however, the bottom bracket (going lengthwise) does not fit into the planter, through holes that are too small for the screws. it can be fitted onto the railing without it but I wonder how sturdy it will be with the weight of the plants...?

I ordered 4 planters. They all assembled perfectly. One of the plugs came broken, but I managed to use Gorilla Glue to piece it back together and surprisingly it still threaded through OK. These planters are insulated which is great, but make sure to keep some of the styrofoam packaging to insulate the bottom and to replace any side pieces that might break in transit or while removing the planter from the box (I had a few broken pieces so it came in handy). It's a sleek planter and seems well-built. Surprisingly heavy, so make sure your railing can take it!

This planter is very sleek and works great. I ordered the black one. We had trouble putting the mounting brackets on it because the picture instructions provided were very ambiguous. We had to figure it out by looking at the way it was mounted in pictures that were posted in reviews. Also, make sure to mount it before filling it with soil and plants, it becomes quite heavy. It comes with styrofoam for insulation which was a nice touch. My boyfriend initially was confused and removed the styrofoam as he thought it was extra packaging, but we were able to get it back into place. The planter worked great on our south-facing balcony and the metal did not get too hot in the sun over the summer (which I was initially worried about).

Well made and finished. Matches the window box planter in this series. Mounting hardware was relatively easy to assemble. 2 criticisms: the interior is lined on the sides with foam to protect against extreme temperatures but not the bottom which seems an oversight. I used the packing foam to do this. My other criticism is that Varadek doesn't offer a matching saucer as they do for the rest of the planters in this series so either one allows the water to drip on whatever is below or keeps the plugs provided in and compromises the drainage

Love the item, but way too big for my project. Took to Walmart to return, and they processed everything. IMPORTANT!! The actual 3rd party seller, Veradeck Outdoor, says it'll take 3 weeks to process my refund AFTER they receive the items back. Won't be buying from Veradeck Outdoor again because of that!
