Wow! This is BIG and Beauitful. The plasitc is not thin at all. Its thick and very heavy!! I can't wait to move house i will immed. start growing my own veges. It's bigger than pictured as well. I know i can grow my garlic and tomatoes nicely in this planter.

Yesterday I received my Veradek Brixton 36 inch planter box. It came well packaged in a thick cardboard container. This came in four pieces, the base, the planter box, the bucket insert and three tray inserts. The first thing my husband did was attach the base to the bottom of the planter box with the four enclosed screws. He then put the bucket insert into the planter box and then put the three tray inserts into the bucket insert. Now it just needs dirt, plants and some water. The planter box came with instructions but they were kind of confusing. My husband before retirement was a maintenance mechanic so he had no trouble reading the instructions and putting the planter box together. I on the other hand have never put together a planter box and I would have liked easier to understand instructions and maybe some insight as to how it all works. The inside measurements, where the dirt goes, are 32 inches long by 7 inches wide by 9 inches deep (without the tray inserts). The planter box is self-watering. It is all-weather resistant from -20 to 120 degrees and is crack proof, fade and scratch resistant and has a five year warranty. When assembled it weighs twenty pounds. It looks great and it will be a wonderful addition to my yard.

Veradek Brixton Planter box is a lot more sturdy then it looks. You can hardly tell it's plastic from the street. This Planter is 36" from side to side and about 11" wide. It adds the perfect touch to my backyard. The quality of this is very good and I know it will hold up to some of the bad weather we get here. This is self watering and self draining and this is a great feature considering how much rain we have had so far this summer. My plants aren't drowning. This is something I know I will be able to enjoy and reuse for years to come.

When I ordered this planter, I had contracted to have a large tree cut down in my front yard. My intention was to put the flower box on top of the remaining stump. Unfortunately the tree guy was in a bad auto accident and is unable to work on my tree. Sooo, here I am in late July looking for someone to cut down my tree at a reasonable price. I am certain that this flower box is gonna work great as decoration when I finally get it all together. It is bigger and heavier than I anticipated. I love it!!!

This planter box is much heavier and thicker than similar planters. It's very easy to put together. My only criticism is that the "scratch resistance" is lacking...it scratched on the top when I wiped potting soil off of it! The scratches are pretty noticeable too, sadly. Otherwise this is a great deck box. I wish it came in other colors!

I'm a total beginner so i wanted something super easy. This is a really nice look sturdy box for me to start in. I knocked off one star because the directions that were sent were for a square box not this rectangle planter so i was a little confused as the pieces are different. Can't wait to see if i can actually grow something!

I really wanted a window box for my kitchen window and it looked like this Varadek 36 inch box would work out fine. Unfortunately, there were no rails or attachments to hang the box. It says on the outside of the box it came it Window Box with railings. So it's not really a window box. Also, it says “self watering “ and I wanted to try one of those boxes. No instructions. The one little card has a picture of a 20 inch planter without telling you how to water or anything. My husband was disgusted and walked away. He's good at fixing anything but lack of instructions, no railings, made for overall disappointing product. The two stars are for the construction of the box and the overall appearance.
