I searched all of the local outlets for the DVD+R DL blank media and nobody seems to want to stock them. I went to Sams online and found what I wanted and purchased. The high capacity discs are great for placing movies on to preserve my favorites.
I bought these to be able to print labels with my printer. They print well and burn well. This is my second 50 pack. I had no defective discs in the first 50. I will update my review after completing my second 50 pack.
great data label spindle burn and great find for a great price
I only just discovered that I could get 8.5 GB inkjet discs at Sams. I had packed my inkjet disc printer away and now I have revived it. I didn't think 8.5 inkjets would ever be available again, I couldn't find them in any store. But Sams has them online with free shipping. Also, they are Verbatim, one of the most reliable media out there. Outstanding!
Good results. I always write at the slower speeds so I don't end up with too many coasters. I will continue to buy them from Sam's Club as long as they are available.
Have used this product for years and am completely satisfied or I would never have reordered so many times. Thank you for carrying this high quality product.
I bought one of these to try it before buying more. I burned 35 disks before one failed. I plan to buy another soon. My fears were based upon some review comments. I have maximum RAM in my computer and tremendous excess Hard Drive space. Also, I have a very new burner. I suspect that the negative review comments may relate to undersized computer issues as these dual-layer discs really do need alot of space for making them. I have the RAM and the space and have no problems with them--a tremendous success rate. They work fantastic. My only problem is buying more as Sams Club is not allowing me to order more on line with my business card. This should be a no-brainer for Sams to fix.
My disk of choice is TDK but good luck finding them. I tried these and have to burn them at 4X not 8X. Even so, 1 out of 4 have failed. I am still looking for another brand that compares to TDK; this is not it.
The worse DVDs ever. Poor video playback quality and the second layer has numerous issues. Verbatim is a known good brand however these are made in Twain and are not what they say on label. Plus Verbatim always burns their name into the Disc, not these. Out of 25 recordings only 3 were playable. I can only record the first layer which is 4.7GB out of 8.5GB. Save yourself many headaches and buy the Verbatim AZO label brand made in Israel. A bit more expensive but far better.
Part of the spindle that contained the disks was broken into some small pieces due to poor packaging by the vendor (OfficeDepot). The disks themselves have not been tried yet.
