This portable SSD has worked great so far. It's small, lightweight, and easy to carry around. Transfer speeds are good, and 512GB gives me plenty of extra storage without taking up much space. I also like that it feels well made and is simple to use. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I needed a high speed drive to move files. This drive has usb 3.2 nvme, so it supports 10G speeds. It also works at 5G; the read and write is still very nice, almost 900mb/s on USB 3.1 which is older and outdated. This means the controller for the drive is very good, and high quality. The design is clearly made for looks and not daily use. The grey part is a usb type C cable, not a handle, so it's possible to lose the drive if you use it as a handle. You have to instead attach to the metal ring, which is ok but awkward. The only downside is the cable must be inserted into the drive firmly every time you use it, and that will wear out the connector. The connector is also on the SIDE so it's awkward and puts strain on the usb C port and cable. Why isn't the port at the top or bottom? It also gets very warm bordering on hot when is use. Small points aside, it delivers the promiser transfer speed. Recommended as it's affordable but gives the high speeds.
