Verizon Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Phantom Black 512 GB

Got this as a upgrade replacement; I was fearful as I was not very impressed with the S22 Ultra I just had. It came in the box nicely packed; quality was there I could tell before turning the phone on. Felt heavier and it is about 0.2 Oz heavier; A sleek design; once it was activated I could tell Samsung went all out on this phone at least in the camera aspect I am still learning the phone as its only been a few weeks. I am a mobile phone photographer as a hobby; the nightography mode is amazing as well as the 200mp capability; in photo mode click on aspect ratio and you wi see the 50mp and 200mp; It takes beautiful pictures Very secure the biometrics are improved less buggy and glitchy; occasional errors but nothing game changing. It's fast for gaming it can handle high fps games; I don't use game launcher stuff just a preference i like. It over all plays games very fast and smooth. Lots of features I am still learning. The star chart in the nightography part is amazing. A side note if you have a s23 or gonna buy; download Expert Raw off of the Galaxy store; It's free and opens up a whole world of amazing Night shots. Excuse my typos I tend not to do reviews but this phone deserves a good one. 5 stars Samsung very happy and pleased

I used to be a huge fan of the Galaxy Note series and was disappointed when they weren't brought back. That was until I recently bought my S23 ultra. This phone is truly everything I could have wanted and more. It's fully customizable all the way down to the lock screen and everything about it is almost perfect It is definitely one of the best phones I have ever purchased and have absolutely no regrets about it huge upgrade from my Galaxy Note 8

To say I'm excited by the new Galaxy S23 Ultra is an understatement. Excellent camera, quick response times and plenty of storage. Pretty happy about running my personal and business life on one device. What I truly enjoyed was the ease of setting this device up.

Good: battery life, speed, screen, fingerprint reader. Note I haven't used the several cameras yet, nor have I had any need yet for the pen.I do like 'Unlock' with double finger tap. Bad: heavy, bulky, no headphone jack (but you can use a USB C dongle adaptor), no micro SD card slot for removable storage. It's quite bad that Verizon has not released one of their traditional cases with kickstand and belt clip, but that's Verizon's fault.

I traded in my Galaxy S20+ 5g phone for this new S23 Ultra. The only thing i truly miss is having the SDI card slot. The battery, is not noticibly different in how long it lasts with my usage. Everything else is great.

What happened to my SD card slot? I have a 512GB SD card and no where to put it. Love the phone otherwise.

As far as phones go to me, the Galaxy Ultras are the Crowned Kings of the cellphone market!! The S-pen is something that I wasnt sure I needed but now that I have one, I wouldn't want a phone without one!! The only thing that kept me form leaving 5 stars is the lack of options for a screen protector without cut-outs in it, Ive been struggling to figure out what screen protector is going to be the winner for me, but thats got nothing to do with the phone quality at all!! Gift yourself with one and youll NOT be disappointed!!

I transitioned from iPhone back to Android, and there's little unpolished details everywhere that are annoying! The worst is that clearing notifications clears unread indicators on apps, and there's no way to change that! Additionally, the autocorrect never checks punctuation and often looks only at the immediate word. This makes it less accurate. Overall, not bad, but unpolished for the price of this phone! And I miss my easy-transfer and easy-purchase of music in iTunes, but I'm working through that, as Apple has begun serving dictators rather than consumers.

I LOVE the phone and the pen is fantastic. My biggest complaint is not being able to DISABLE the Samsung internet search. It constantly is popping up asking for permission. To be completely honest I have considered returning the phone. Great phone but I should be able to choose my search engine.

I've been using my S23 Ultra for about 18 days and, so far, it's the best Galaxy I've had! I love the bigger screen! Makes it easier to see more details. I've had so much using a pen again! There's even an app I can use for coloring, drawing tutorials and freestyle! And the camera!!! The colors are vivid and my pictures have great detail that shows up again!! Now, I need time to get into more of the details... thanks for making a great phone!
