I bought this thing hoping my new oven's air-fry mode would finally give me that crisp without the oil splash. The moment I slipped the large basket into the oven, it felt like a tiny spaceship docking with a sleek metal runway. I tossed a batch of carrots, a few broccoli florets, and even a sad little donut I rescued from the pantry. The veggies emerged with a crunch that made me question whether I was still using a stove, and the donut? Let's just say it was the only time a donut survived a heat wave without turning into a charcoal stick. Wings, however, are a different story. I tried to convince the basket that chicken could be a good friend, but the oven's airflow just wasn't the same as a dedicated fryer. The result was a soggy-ish wing that looked more like a reluctant pilgrim than a golden masterpiece. I'm not blaming the pan; the oven simply lacks the turbo-boost that a real fryer provides. Still, for everything else-veggies, tiny pastries, even a rogue piece of cheese-the pan performs like a culinary magician. The bottom tray is so shiny it could double as a mirror for my morning pep talks. I was terrified it would become a rust-loving nightmare after a few cycles, but the dishwasher washes it clean every single time. No scrubbing, no mysterious spots, just a spotless tray that gleams like a trophy. Overall, this set of two has become my go-to sidekick for healthy cooking adventures. It doesn't replace a real fryer for wings, but it turns my oven into a versatile, low-fat wonderland. Five stars, and I'll keep feeding it vegetables, donuts, and the occasional experimental rotisserie experiment-just don't expect it to win any wing contests.
Recently purchased a multi function air fryer oven. The basket and pan that came with the oven were larger than I needed so I purchased this Vesteel item. Really like it so far. Some reviews say, correctly, that the pan warps during cooking. While it's true, it doesn't affect performance at all. After the pan cools it returns to its original shape. The very slight warping is in no way a problem. The combo basket and pan are easy-to-use and easy to clean. Except for the pan where I would highly recommend using aluminum foil in the pan to decrease or even eliminate clean up. All in all, cooks my chicken tenders, fries and veggies very well with little cleanup. I'm sure it will do the same with whatever else I cook. Love it.
I SPRAYED THE BASKET WITH OLIVE OIL AND LINED THE DRIP PAN WITH PARCHMENT PAPER. IT WAS VERY EASY TO CLEAN. IVE COOKED SEVERAL THINGS USEING THIS IN MY NEW RANGE WITH AIRFRY. I REALLY LIKE HOW MY FROZEN CHICKEN FINGERS TURNED OUT. MY HUSBAND REALLY LIKED HIS ONION RINGS.
This fits my Breville smart toaster airfry oven perfectly, and it was reasonably priced. Breville sends an air fryer basked without a grease tray, and then they tell you not to air fry anything that may drip grease. I remedied that by putting a tray under the Breville basket, but I like this one because it has the basket that sits directly on the tray. My guess it that it may fit other x-large air fryer ovens. I have been happy that Walmart has had good accessories for the Breville 900 series. It can also be used with a regular oven, especially a convection oven.
It is lighter than I expected. It is pretty. I haven't tried it yet so I can't say anything about cleaning it. I also have to figure out how to operate my air fryer oven on my new stove.
This is a quality basket and pan. I was quite surprised by the pan being so heavy duty. Not some thin flimsy pan. Basket fits nicely in the pan, and I saw no warping of either, after frying at 400 degrees.
Nice item for all the chicken wings that we eat I sprayed the basket but my wings still stuck to it
Actually, great price just received and have not used it yet!
I haven't used it in my new oven that has an air fryer option but know I will because I want to get the old counter one off my counter. I wanted stainless steal so it doesn't rust and easy to clean.
This pan is very poor quality. I used it twice and the basket and sheet are warped already. Also after washing it you can still see where the juices from the meat were dripping. Do not waste your money on this.
