I mostly got this. just for the pure aesthetic. I wanted black utensils to go with the black dishware. these are actually really well made, this is not a coating that rubs off, and I've had very little discoloration from washing and having sediments in the water dry onto these utensils. These look fantastic for all metal utensils. I have no negative comment on this black silverware.

These are so pretty!!!!! Although not a true black, I am happier with the slightly gray sheen. They have a softer appearance than a harsh black. I could not be happier with them. I have only washed them in the dishwasher once, but they came out looking the same as they did going in. If you are looking for a prettier and more modern metal than a hard black, I highly recommend this set.

We have had the utensils for three weeks and use them every day. They still look like new. They have good weight and are very solid feeling in my hand. The finish on them is perfect with no blemishes. Each utensil was individually wrapped. I do feel that these utensil will hold up over time and will update the review if anything changes if allowed. I did order one set first in order to evaluate the look and feel of the utensils plus to see how they held up under use. After one week of use they passed the test and we ordered our second set and will add more as time passes and the quality remains.

While this set is beautiful, and weighted very well, once they are washed, spot stains are left on them. After a few months of use, they have started to get rust lines through them. At first I thought they weren't being washed well, and were being put away dirty, but then when I tried to clean them, I realized it's part of it. The larger spoons are the worst with this.

I wanted new utensils to go with my new dinnerwear set. I like the color of these and they don't bend like a lot do. My only complaint is that they need to be dried immediately after washing or they look dirty. The water spots are one thing but they actually look dirty sitting in the drawer. I don't use a dishwasher so that may have some effect but they are washed with piping hot water.

I wanted Matte Black. These are more like dark silver. Will return these and see if I can get true matte black.

In what world are these matte black? They are glossy, steel, graphite. They are dark silver, they are not matte black as pictured

Decent enough weight, but I wad stupid to buy the black. The color is dull, just looks tarnished and shows all water spots and finger prints.

Color isn't black, more a slate gray. Easily scratched and started chipping shortly after I got them. If not dried right away, they have awful water marks %26 coating is rubbing off. Also the edges on the handles are a bit sharp. Wish I hadn't wasted my money, turning around not even 2 months later and buying a different set of silverware.
