5 stars

This product worked great. It cleared up a stubborn case of ringworm my horse had on his face when another product I tried didn't. The squirt bottle and foam were easy to use on his face while not getting in his eyes.

Great stuff!

cjwalker31 December 26, 2017

I used this earlier this year (2017) for my horse. This is going to sound funny but, he has what I call 'leaky butt sydrome'. I use warm water and then spray the Vetericyn Foaming Spray Shampoo on and then clean with a soft cloth and rinse and this has kept his butt clean all winter and kept him from getting skin issues as he got quite itchy before I started using this on him. I love it and he enjoys his butt washes (ha ha). Thanks for making this product. I highly recommend it.

Another outstanding product from Vetericyn!

Djpr September 24, 2018

I wash my horses very frequently especially during the summer. Over the years I have tried many different name brand shampoos, however, I have often been disappointed in their quality and effectiveness. Vetericyn Foam Care Medicated Shampoo is simple and easy to use. I have found it to be extremely effective in healing and preventing skin problems on my horses. The spray-on wash-off process is so much less hassle, and the shampoo leaves the horse smelling pleasent and fresh for many days after he has been washed. If you are considering purchasing this shampoo I highly recommend it! Less mess, less hassle, much better results. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

I absolutely love this shampoo! It works great for fungus and sensitive horses. It smells great and it rinses off super fast (which is perfect for washing the face). It also gets dirt and crud off easily. I 100% recommend!!!!

Happy Horse

Kate January 7, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've never seen a Percheron draft horse with dry, itchy, flaky summer skin, let me just say.... it's pitiful. Nine months out of the year, our big mare is an elegant, deep black with a silky coat and a spring in her step. She's an astonishingly accomplished dressage horse, performing upper level movements with grace and joy except from July to October. Texas is hot and dry then and the Percheron is a cold weather breed and her skin suffers for it. I am always on the lookout for things to keep her comfortable - regular soothing baths and Eucerin cream have been the best. Today I used this medicated shampoo instead of the Head and Shoulders to see if it was any better. Immediately, the scent was awesome - sort of eucalyptus smell that we both like. It sprays out in an instant foam that goes directly where you want and does not drip. The trigger pull is smooth and frankly, just cleaner to use than standing on my tip toes with an upside down bottle trying to pour shampoo on the back of an 18 hand tall, sweaty horse after a ride. It didn't lather as thickly as I expected, but it did get her clean and rinsed off completely. See the photos for the dirt that came up in the first swirls. I watched her for almost 30 minutes after the bath and she wasn't rubbing or scratching at itchy spots on her flank or withers or cheeks. Clearly the medication ingredient here is doing something soothing. I will absolutely continue to use this and the Eucerin cream as needed.

A must

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Listen to me, you need this in your first aid kit. Idk how many times I've had this handy for my horses since they love roaming and jumping over everything. A lot of little injuries to their legs. Big or small this bottle is a miracle worker. It's even healed my new horse big injury. He had a big cut and I cleaned her wound and used this and in a month it's was closed and healed. Would've cost me a lot of money at the vet. Keep this bottle on had. It's amazing. Been using it for years. Just search other reviews and pictures.

Best shampoo ever!

GlamGal2 January 7, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more itching and no more dry skin for my horse. Animals skin can get irritated and dry due to weather conditions, when this happens horses need to have the best shampoo possible to relieve all their irritation and help them stay nice and clean. With just one use I noticed my horse being more energetic and happy thanks to this great shampoo I bath him in. It last a great spray cleaner for easy to manage and the bottle is of good size to get a lot of uses out of this big bottle. My horses mane looks better and even smells better since starting to use this product.

Easy to use Foam Care shampoo!

sevenbugs January 7, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Vetericyn Foam Care Medicated Shampoo to try on my horses. It was very easy to use with the spray trigger. Once sprayed on, it instantly foamed up. I sprayed it on a scratch one of the horses had. She just stood there and didn't flinch at all. That tells me this doesn't sting her skin! I left it on to soak in a bit and then rinsed it off. It was so easy to use! Also, when it was rinsed off the coat was clean looking! I will be using this on the others as needed!

Saved our show steers!

Fourninjas December 20, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a timely opportunity! Our new 4H show steers caught ringworm and we used the Vetericyn FoamCare Equine Medicated Shampoo to treat them. What an effortless process and coupled with medicated ointment the boys are all clear!
