I used this gel on my dog who stepped on something and cut his foot a little and I believe it helps stop the pain because he quit crying when I applied it. Also I like the fact that it is a disinfectant so I did not have to apply any other product To his foot . It stopped bleeding almost immediately which is a good thing and you have an injury on your foot. The application was easy just the right amount came out was not too watery or too thick. I like the fact that it gives you all the ingredients that's in the gel on the package also so you know what you're dealing with. Directions are good .

This is a great pet clot ointment/gel for dogs, cats, birds and small animals. I have used it for my Shih Tzu when I cut his nails. I usually have the Septic Powder on hand but this works great and is much better to use. It has a wonderful thin tip dispenser, perfect for application without waste or mess. It is a fast acting gel. It immediately stopped the flow of blood. Unfortunately, he moved when I was cutting his nail and fortunately I had this Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Super Clot. It stops the bleeding, reduces pain and disinfects. That is three benefits in one product. Everyone should have this as part of their pet care supplies. Easy application directly on the wound to accelerate the clotting process. It has good fast acting ingredients: Aluminum sulfate, ferric sulfate, glycerin, silicone dioxide, and lidocaine. After use, my pet was his old self no complaints or signs of discomfort, therefore, I do recommend this product.

This product is good peace of mind. I get very nervous about clipping my cat’s nails so this takes off find pressure knowing I have this handy. Just in case. It comes in a hand sized foil tube that seems like it would be easy to dispense the product if you accidentally clip your pets nails too short. It is the consistency of a gel. It reminds me of Neosporin in color and thickness. The instructions say it stops bleeding, which I hope I never have to find out if that’s true. It also numbs the pain and disinfects, which I find to be very comforting. No one wants to cause their pet any pain, so it’s nice to have this handy for just in case you slip up. I think it would be easier and less messy than the powders.

I am so excited about this Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Super Clot for Pets. It comes in a easy applicator squeeze 1 Oz. tube. I adopted a neglected dog that had nails that were so long that the quick was also long. Every time I trim his nails I get bleeders. I have always used styptic powders to stop the bleeding and it takes awhile to get each nail to stop bleeding. Then it hurts him so he starts licking on his toes and starts his nails bleeding again. Plus what pet likes pain. I got a chance to try this Super Clot and Oh my gosh do I love it. When it says instantly stops the bleeding that is exactly what it does. It is a gel that you squeeze from a nice shaped application tip. The gel clots semi hard the second it mixes with the blood. It says that it stops the pain and it must because the second I put it on he stops pulling his foot from me. He doesn’t lick on his toes and nails after so no after bleeding. I am so happy I got to try this. I will have this product in my grooming case from now on. What a difference it makes. I am a happy pet owner and my little Joe Joe is happy too. This Super clot can also be used for docking ears , tails and minor cuts.

As crazy as it sounds we have never had to clip our 8 year old golden retriever's (Riley) nails, according to our vet that is because we take him on so many walks/hikes that wear down the nails naturally. Unfortunately, as a result of the current situation we all find ourselves in, we aren't walking him as much as usual so I knew I would have to cut them myself because vets are limited in seeing patients at this time. Super Clot is a fast acting gel for your pets. If you trim your dog’s nails yourself, as I do, this is a good product to have. If you cut the nail too short and cause bleeding the tube has a narrow tip for precise application. It’s easier to use than the powder. To cut safely, always use the guide on the clippers. The product stops bleeding, numbs pain and disinfects. The package says it can be used for minor cuts. It’s appropriate for most small pets.

I have 2 dogs and I cut both their nails when I cant get to the groomer. Every time I cut them seems like I cut a nail too short and it bleeds. Super clot came in handy for a couple times so far and it stops the bleeding immediately. Plus I love how it also disinfects and numbs the pain. They definitely have pain when this happens. My one dog just had surgery and it also worked on his cut till I got him to the vet. It's amazing how quick it stops the bleeding and I didnt cut it too short but it still was bleeding without stopping so it worked to stop it quick. It has a slight smell to it but it didnt seem to bother them or me. It's a gel like substance and its gold in color. It definitely works to clot the blood.

So, no one wants to clip their dogs nails too short. But we've all been there!! In the past I've used the powder you dip the paw into, corn starch, you name it, I've tried it. This is a gel application that seems to work pretty well. It's a little messy - especially if your pup is wiggly, but it's not nearly as messy as the powder. It's nice to keep this handy for those "oops!" moments!

The Verternary Super Clot gel works pretty good. We accidentally clipped my dog's nail too short so I used the super clot on it. It seemed to have knumbed the nail and it stopped the bleeding within a minute or 2. It has a disinfectant in it to help keep the cut or what ever caused the bleeding, clean which is a good thing. I have 4 dogs so this will come in very handy when clipping their nail. I would recommend this to anyone with dogs or cats.

This gel is too strong for animals skin and furs it can burn them and make the cut worse. Thats what happened to my cat. Im glad it didnt go in her eyes when she tried taken it off. It made her another burn she did not had, from trying to take it off or allegies. now she got two scars intead of one. Hopefully the refund my money without having to go to walmart.
