Extremely good value for the price point. Lots of power, came with 2 chains. I cut my on firewood to heat a cabin in West Virginia. Smaller 16" saw I already had works great but I needed a larger one. Work with this saw everyday, year around, probably wouldn't hold up, but for a month of cutting each year it fills the bill!
haven't had it long, so time will tell, but my initial use to cut a variety of maple and walnut was very positive. started easily, had the power that was needed, and functions as expected
My handy man said it works great to cut wood from large pine tree.
it was very convenient for the small trees i had to cut down. Very powerful and lightweight.
The chainsaw is sturdy, comfortable weight and has good power. It came with a second chain but no bar-oil. My only issue is the location of the tension screw, running parallel with the blade is a little difficult and the metal is soft %26 wants to burr. Im sure I will be needing a replacement screw before too long otherwise its a good saw.
Very decent chain saw for the price, just burns through gas very quickly.
It gets a little warm and then you have to wait for it to cool down to start it again. usually takes several pulls. Other gas pull starts like our pressure washer, lawn mower, and generator all only take 1 - 2 pulls. Then the cord broke on day 2 of use. Once you finally do get it started it does great. Also make sure you crank down the nuts holding the bar on. Ours came off and the housing, chain, and bar came apart mid cut.
This chainsaw is a piece of junk! It ran for thirty minutes, I took a break, and it refused to crank again no matter what I did after that. Brand new and right out of the box, and doesn't work. If you need a chainsaw, spend the extra bucks and get a name brand!
Terrible product. The chain kept falling off and made it very hard to cut the simplest of trees. Disappointed and frustrated for sure.
could not put cover back on after removing it to put on bar %26 chain. It started right up and ran good. BUT, as i say, went to put bar on and now there is a little metal ricg that has to slide over wheel inside. impossible for me to get ot to ho on so it is WORTHLESS . DO NOT BUY
