Her liver function is not deteriorating!! And she will eat these blended with her food.
My 13 years old cat typically will eat anything however I cannot get this product into him. I have tried every method I can, but, no way. I am a retired vet tech so all the tricks I've used are not working. He has been treated for hepatitis and needs this support. Fortunately, I have great luck with the VetriScience DMG product! Hopefully that will be enough.
First, they have a very strong, horrible smell. I could put up with that if my cat would eat them. He goes in the opposite direction when he sees or smells them. I have even tried crushing them up and putting them in his favorite food. He is not usually a fussy eater. I gave one to my other cat just to see if she would eat it and got the same reaction. My vet prescribed these for elevated liver enzymes, but since my cat won't eat them, I don't know if they work.
I just wasted $25.00 for nothing!!! My cat refused to take this!!!! no wonder, %231; too big for a cat to chew %232; too hard for a cat %233; i even tried to break it up so it would be easier, but she turned her nose up at it....do not waste your money on item, i have kept trying to get her to take this but she will not, money down the drain, out the window....
My cat refuses to consume this product. I offered them to her alone - she refuses to eat them. I have cut them into little pieces, added to wet food (she ate all the wet food but left the supplement). I offered her a couple of "real" treats mixed w/the supplement and she will eat the other treats - but not touch these. Lastly, they stink.
The chews were too dry, looked old. The expiration date was nowhere to be found on the package. The cat just walks away every time looking disappointed.
We break it up and put it in his food. He eats around it. Too bad for all of us involved in the care of this 17 year old cat. I really can't say anything else.
I'm still trying all kinds of tricks to get him to eat them but so far nothing. He sniffs and then walks away.
My cat who is not finnicky refuses to eat these. They are rather large in size too.
She throws up every time she eats one of these. It's hard on her stomach.
