I have an 11 year old Golden Retriever who was showing signs of trouble with moving. He's been taking the pills for a couple of weeks now and I can see a big improvement. He gets up on his feet quicker and has a better gait when he walks. He has even started to play with the younger dogs more.
In the brief time I have had Vet's + Best I have noticed that my dogs well being has improved a lot. They enjoy playing ball and running in the yard. Even at ages 8 and 6 they act like puppies. The product contains natural ingredients that facilitate movement. Just some of the ingredients are MSM,Glucosamine,Chondroitin and Hyaluronic Acid plus a proprietary blend all coming together to form a tablet that does its job. I wish I could take it myself. These tablets seem to be easily digested and tolerated by all dogs. Both my dogs love them and when they see me going for the bottle they come running. Only drawback is that going by the suggested dosing schedule I would be out of tabs in just 2 weeks. They are supposed to have 7 per day between them. Also the smaller dog will not take the tab unless the tab is broken down into smaller pieces. Since the tabs are doing well I think I will adhere to the schedule to keep my dogs healthy. I would suggest that you try these tabs, you'll be satisfied .
Takes about two weeks to kick in but more effective, cheaper and safer than Rimadyl prescription. Miraculous results. Our 15 year old Aussie went from nearly immobile to enjoying her usual walks after two weeks. Been on it over one year and it still works.
So I've been giving this to my dog for over a week now. I have a border collie and she is on the older side. Usually after a run or hard playing she is stiff and very slow at times to get back moving. Ever since giving her these supplements, she has been more energetic and also doesn't seem to be slow to her feet. She seems to have more energy. Great product.
So far it seems to be working good on my chocolate lab. Lucy has always had some joint pain in er rear hip area. She walks with a limp a lot. I started her on these a couple of weeks ago and she takes them easy. They seem to taste good or she would not take them so easy. I have noticed that her limp is not as bad as it has been. She is running better and seems to be feeling better. I think these supplements seem to be helping. I will continue giving them to her since it seems to be working. I do recommend!
How can I honestly review a supplement that I'm sure takes at least a month to show any results? I just received these the other day and my dogs have had 3 so far. :) I will say they seem to like the smell and flavor, so they accept them as treats. I have a Yorkie and a Morkie and they are both about 12 yrs. old. I have noticed they are both becoming slightly arthritic so I am hoping these pills will help them feel better. But honestly I won't notice any change for at least a month or so. So, as far as I know, the dogs like to take them and I hope they help.
I received the Vet's Best Advanced Hip & Joint Dog Supplements, 90 Chewable Tablets and was pleasantly surprised to see the dogs think they are TREATS and not a medicine or supplement at all. I've used others that were kind of foul smelling and powdery and had to toss them out after finding them all over. They would take it, run and spit it out! LOL Gross but couldn't blame them one bit. Hopefully these will be a great supplement that can improve the lives of dogs over time and will benefit more pups out there! The best for now is that they will actually eat them!!! Yay!
This by far is the best hip and joint medicine for dogs my dog has no issue taking these in fact he thinks they are treats and begs for them he gets up alot easier with these he takes 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening hes 12 and was having a hard time with his walks now he gets excited to go again
At first I thought these doggy vitamins weren't necessary as my dog is only a little over 2 years old. After I read the ingredients I decided it might be helpful as my dog is overweight and goes up and down our stairs frequently. It has Glucosamine and Chondroitin in it and antioxidants. It's a pretty big pill and I was afraid he wouldn't take it but he scarfed it right down in some peanut butter. I only gave him 1 pill to start out with until I wait to see if it causes any stomach upset. It is made in USA so I found that comforting to know.
These supplements are a very large size chewable. Luckily my dog is big and didn't mind chewing it. I have giving her them for a few days she is 10 years old and she seems to like them. I haven't noticed any change in her yet but I bet it takes a week or so to kick in. Since she's older she has trouble sometimes with her legs after she runs around and plays. I hope these will help her. I can't wait to see how she is doing after a month or so of giving them to her everyday. They are filled with glucosamine so I'm sure they will do wonders.
