These locking drawer slides are GREAT for our overlanding drawer platform.! Very heavy duty and roll smoothly. Their hardware doesn't work with thicker wood that one would be using for such heavy duty slides, so buy some M6 binding cap bolts for the best solution. Watch YouTube videos for easy, understandable installation.
The drawer slides arrived on time and in good condition. I bought a pair of the 40 inch slides and they are surprisingly beefy (in a reassuring way). They open and close smoothly and feel well constructed. I like that there's a locking mechanism so that the drawer won't retract if opened up all the way without activating the little yellow lever first. The hardware included everything you need to mount these bad boys.
These slides are exactly what we needed in my daughter's tiny house for under-bed storage. They are strong, smooth and arrived on time. Mark V
how do you take the slides apart to attach the inter slide to the draw?
I used these to build a tool drawer in m truck bed. It works great. Be advise that the inside rail will not remove from the outside rail. Plan ahead to assemble the drawer to the cabinet body. Ive carried approximately 250 lbs on bumpy roads without problem.
Best price out there for this size drawer slide. Quick shipping as well. Only thing I didn't like about these slides is that the inner slide does not come out of the outer slide, so it is a bit difficult to attach the drawer to the slide.
it would be hard to criticize such a great item. very heavy duty and strong as a bull. I mounted a gasoline powered water pump on them and they glide perfectly. great product and price!
They were easy to install and I really liked the locking mechanism. The fact they shipped right away let me install them ASAP!
I used these to build a drawer system for my auto detail setup in my truck. Less than 300 lbs of weight and three weeks later the latch has grinded so bad it doesn't lock anymore. Now I have to get a new one, take my set up apart, unscrew the boxes, and install a new one. Terrible quality for an 'industrial' grade product.
