excellent product
My husband loves his gift
perfect gift came just the way it was described. Great quality would buy again if needed to.
This Planer was purchased as a gift. The user advised that this planer works well and he had no problems with minor assembly, and utilizing it. Planed well and he was satisfied with the results. A good planer for the $.
This is what my husband wanted for his birthday so I was happy for it's availability and we got it before his birthday
i love this unit. It completely fills my plainer needs. It has 2 speeds that you can set prior to cutting.
The machine works well however the instructions are poorly written or were terribly translated. If the vacuum port is left installed with no vacuum attached the machine quickly clogs with wood chips. It does come with a chip diverter for rear exhaust but the instruction booklet neglects to mention it or that it requires the removal of the vacuum port. The "iron" stand is rather flimsy and very short. I found it necessary to construct a dolly with a low box to contain the legs so they would not splay when heavy lumber is loaded. This also helped to raise it to a more comfortable working height. I would suggest scanning your lumber to be planed with a metal detector first. I discovered a small buried nail in the first slab I ran through. The nail cut a groove in the blades so now they have to be replaced. Now I get see about the customer service at Vevor. On the plus side it was delivered right away
Good for smoothing rough (sawmill) lumber, which is what I needed it for. Bogs down some times if the board gets a little thicker. Eventually does a pretty smooth surface but take more passes that a beefier planer.
Item work for a few pieces of wood and blade bar broke. Because item was bought as a gift, was unable to return or have it replaced. Have been fighting over a year for either replacement or a refund. High recommend you do not by this product.
planned 1/2 inch boards about 1/16 on each side. pine boards even. feeder still works but planner blades do not turn. have to wait up to 2 days to get an email. then im sure to get run around for 2 to 3 more days to get a decision on what they will do. so ill wait and loose a few days on trying to get my project done on my house. thanks vevor and walmart
