It came 3 days early. The box was completely intact without any blemishes. It unpacked easily. Upon setup, the fridge came to temperature within an hour and tge freezer 3 hours later.

I've been looking for an entry-level compressor style DC fridge for a while, and the price and capacity for this unit was very competitively priced. The Fridge and the Freezer get cold, both sides can be controlled independently, the Bluetooth app works, and the power consumption seems to be economical. Time will tell how the durability is, but it seems like it will do the job of replacing the ineffecient 3-way RV Fridge that I removed from my RV, and I expect that it will be more efficient than running an apartment fridge off an inverter.

I got this cooler for an upcoming camping trip, tried it out on the first day to make sure it will work for my trip. Cooling worked well, but temperature guage isnt accurate, found out it pulls 80-100 watts while compressor running. At the end of the first day, I went to pull it out of my truck with only 8 water bottle in it, I grabbed it by the handle and they both snapped causing it to come crashing down. The bottom of the cooler cracked to pieces. I called walmart and the pawned me off to the manufacturer who is over seas. So a week later and barely 1 email a day, Im still waiting for an answer on what they plan to do to correct this! Dont waste your money on this one, better off spending more and getting one that wont break on the first day of use!!

Won't work as they say it will be

Bought the unit specifically for car use. First trip was 7 days. Unit began operating eratically on day 2 - freezer section stopped working. Resetting power would bring it back to life but it continued to work eratically. Before the end of the trip the freezer section stopped working all together and fridge section began operating eratically - power cycle would bring it back to life. Second trip several weeks later unit initially appeared to work correctly, but soon began shutting down. Power cycle would bring it back to life but within 2nd day unit would no longer respond. I tried both DC and AC operation but unit would no longer power up. At least Walmart's return process was easy and efficient. Received refund within one week of return.
