This review is after just one use over several hours. It is well made. The longer you make the rod, the heavier and more difficult the job is. My 17 yr old son did most of the work that required the longer lengths. The pruner that works with the string is very easy and effective. The limbs that were thicker than the pruner were more difficult but it did the job. Just need a lot of patience to saw things manually that are at the end of the really heavy pole. It took 2 of us to use the string pruner at the very long lengths. My son would place the pole and I would pull the string to cut the branch. At shorter lengths I could do it myself. Overall, it's a very economical purchase, considering it was 10 percent of what I was quoted to do the job by a professional tree trimmer company.
Well designed and easy to assemble as many extension pieces as need to trim our 3 palm tree seed pods and dead branches. I only wish I could find a similar product made in America.
This is the best pole saw I have come across. It works better than advertised and very easily. I bought down one 14 inch diameter limb that was about 20 feet off the ground with no problems. It will reach even higher. It's easy to assemble and disassemble. Also has a very handy bag of storage. It comes with 2 blades which is nice if the first one gets dull. Mine didn't get dull but was nice to have just incase. A very good purchase since it keeps this old guy off the ladder 🪜.
The pole saw is a very good unit. The saws and slicer are sharp and operate well. The pole when extended is difficult to control with accuracy but does get to the higher lengths of branches. Overall it is a useful pole saw and I recommend it highly.
So excellent and heavy duty. I must say you have to be rather strong to use all the length they give you in this pack, but if you can, this thing is a "monster" (meaning excellent) at getting the limbs that seem like they may come down at any time. You can't always afford a gas-powered but even if you could, this gets higher than those -- again with sufficient muscle or a son who is athletic. But I love tree work. There is no battery or motor, but it does cut excellently, and there is a place for a shoulder strap for the whole package.
This is a great trimmer for a terrific price. Works just as well as the more expensive trimmers. We bought this to trim really tall palm trees. It works just as it should. I would recommend this product if you are in need of a trimmer for hard to reach trim jobs. Saved us a lot of money not having to pay someone to trim our tall palm trees. A
I like this manual pole saw for the height that I need to reach way up there. I do have to pause in mid-cut to take a short rest before a compIete cut is achieved. I am no youngster at 77. I am currently in Florida cutting palm trees of dead frons and pods, for a lack of a better word.
I purchased this item in order to save myself $1250 to trim the branches hanging over the roof of my house. It did actually pay for itself many many times over. I would recommend this item IF you have the strength and more importantly the patience to maneuver the tool. As you get higher and use more extensions the strength required, and the control needed increase because the tool dances around in the air more and at times it seems as if you are cutting into nothing. This is where your patience has to come into play and simply allow the blade to cut as you pull the blade up and down. For example a branch 9 inches thick 30feet in the air took me nearly an hour to cut because I could not apply much pressure and simply had to depend on the blade as I pulled downward to cut and pushed upward to position the blade to cut in the downward motion again and again. You will get a workout but you will also save lots of money. I couldn't lift my arms the next day, but I still recommend this tool.
easy to put together , blade works very well , worked as advertised , at full length it is a bit combersome but over all it was great
missing the screws but other than that it is a good trimmer working excellent
