I have 2 bone on bone knees, waiting for surgery. I love this shower chair. I turn my chair facing out to get on chair. Then turn to face faucet on tub. Chair locks in place easily. I unlatch the chair to slide over into the tub. It’s easier to lift my legs from a sitting position. I placed 2 grab bars on the tile inside tub walls. I can pull bringing the chair to the end of the shower frame. It’s very smooth sliding. I’m able to tuck my shower curtain behind the chair. No water on floor. I have a handheld wand that shower myself with. I’m able to easily stand up in tub using the soft cushioned arm bars on both sides of the seat. This product is very strong built and steady. I have a high tub, this fits up over the top. Because I’m short I use a small stool to get into the chair. I can reach the floor without it, I just feel safer with a stool. I’m 5’2”. Be sure you measure how much room you have for this. I had a clearance of 38” from sink counter to a wall. I angled my chair a little so it’s easy to lift my legs up over tub. I love this shower chair! Much easier to use than a wide transfer chair. I am not able to stand and scoot across a chair.

I am the caretaker for my younger brother who has dementia. He is no longer able to lift a leg to step into the bathtub. This is a game changer because it is well designed and sturdy. He is still a little resistant to sitting on occasion but once I get him to sit the transition to inside the tub is flawless. Anyone who is struggling with getting a patient into the tub this device will solve your problems.

this is probably the most helpful piece of equipment in our house! My mom can walk with her walker up to it or use her sit to stand lift (Her hoyer lift will work as well!) and she feels secure and safe while using it! We use it to wash up, get dressed and so out hair all in one swoop. No more switching to different seats and devices.

product works as intended. only issue is the seat came with a quarter sized hole in the top of it. box was slightly damaged upon arrival.

doesn't fit on my bathtub. spent $118.00 and refused return due to DME. never used. Walmart customer service no help with the issue.

Received very late Shipped all over the county no longer need.
