Just finished installing this in our attic (still haven't done the door- that will be another job for another weekend). Took about eight hours over two days. All in all, it's relatively simple to install. However, Warner made it a little harder than it should be with some mediocre instructions and some shortcuts that show cheapness.

I used this stair to access the loft area of my lake camp . Takes up less room and seems safer than the step ladder I was using . I wish they had installation instructions .

There simply is no other product that achieves a ladder in small hatch openings. I read the other reviews and didn't run into any of the negatives.

The ladder arrived in good shape, but with some of the cardboard packaging torn.

We purchased this ladder to install in our attic space to reach the upper part of our attic, and it works well for that purpose. Install was a little nerve wracking. You have to remove the stairs themselves from the wall bracket to install it, and I suggest taking pictures of the way the bolts are installed before removing anything. We had to purchase some large lag screws due to the size of the holes on the wall bracket. The included installation hardware was for concrete, not wood. The stairs are a little hard to pull down, but work really well. It was shipped in an actual crate, so A for packing.

The attic stairs are really pretty look stirdy but nobody knows how to install them. In fact I keep being told that they're not attic stairs and Walmart will not take them back now. Check with your contractor first
