Perfect match for our ford truck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these cans on smaller jobs for my custom hydrographic dipping. They always come out amazing.
The first can sprylayed out like runny water, but the next few seemed ok. Doesn't cover much and it's pretty expensive, but I am pleased with the results, overall. Once it's been went sanded and polished, it looks pretty good. I used the Chrysler color BCC0412 Inferno Red Metallic to paint over a satin graphite finish, and it seems to have done fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have bought this product before and liked it very much especially how well it sprayed. Unfortunately this can did not spray well at all. It spit and ruined a paint job.
Bought two cans of perfect match P4 for a 2003 dodge 1500 pick up. Cans were shaken as directed and more. While the color match was very close, the nozzles on both cans were next to useless. Paint splattered everywhere on the truck in big drops. Most of the paint ended up on the ground. Had the sand the entire painted area off.
I bought this to fix scuff marks on my Hyundai Sonata's bumper, thinking one can each of filler/primer, paint, and clear coat would be enough. Taping and priming went fine, but the paint process was frustrating. I mistakenly removed the diffuser cap (thinking it was a cap), causing globs and drips on initial application. After sanding (and removing some OEM paint), I bought more cans and used the diffuser properly—but the paint was thin, ran easily, and didn't cover well. Even after nine cans (YES NINE CANS), the color still doesn't match the OEM white, and I haven't applied the clear coat yet. It's puzzling why the primer does not come in white, it might just be a way to sell more paint. Bottom line: unless you're experienced, get professional help or solid advice before attempting this yourself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] no firecracker red (prc/mrc) for my jeep, come on guys, you don't have spray can touch up for my jeep. do you real want me to go to another paint company source. I've had good luck with Dupli color paint since the 80's. (flame red is not the same). Please reply if something is going to come out soon.
Just tried a can of Toyota SuperWhite II Duplicolor touch up auto spray paint. Duplicolor has changed the spray nozzle to a lower height round affair and there's a HUGE problem: spray is hitting the edge of the metal ring below this nozzle and causing spatters of paint to be thrown all over my nice paint job and the floor of my garage. Please go back to the thinner piped style nozzle !
I bought this product to fix a paint chip I had on my 2014 ford F150. I bought the correct color code and it was double checked by the auto part employee as well and it was not even remotely close. My truck is Oxford white and the paint was tan is color! Total waste of money.
The Perfect Match Automotive Paint - Protective Clear Coat Finish is not resistant to gasoline. After priming, painting, applying clear coat, curing time per the manufacturer instructions I spilled some gas on the gas tank. Viola - the clear coat is ruined.
