I have a wide foot, so these shoes provide plenty of space for the front of my feet. Also, the heel is padded and flexible, so they are very comfortable.

While these 'shoes' are lighter and more practical than traditional shoes, the minimal sole takes getting used to, and does not provide the 'bottom of foot' protection of thicker soles. I especially like the wide toe design, which fits my feet better than most. The higher laces (4 eye pairs) on a low side provide a better fit, but they are not 'slip-on' by any means. I will know more about overall wear and tear in another 6 to 12 months.

It really depends on personal preferences. Thought I would give it a try and it is not quite what I expected. I am sure there are other people who definitely will like these shoes. Not a bad thing, just not for me.
