Vibrant Life 13 ft Reflective Retractable Tape Leash, Black, XS-S

I was surprised these are "Walmart" brand. The quality is superb. I bought my first two (we have two dogs) over 10 years ago and they are still functional. We walk our dogs at LEAST 2x a day for a mile each walk. Yes - after 10 years the leashes show some wear- the grey on the handle is missing in a few places and the leash material has lost its reflective property. But they are still going strong after 10 years. I highly recommend this leash for your dog - and it has the Walmart guarantee to boot! You can't go wrong.

This leash is great. Our puppy is 23 lbs and is a "leash chewer". This leash has withstood her constant chewing on the leash and has remained intact. The retract mechanism in this lease is also great. Our puppy has often times taken off running and when the leash reached the maximum length and stopped releasing abruptly it didn't break. Our previous leash broke and no longer retracted. I highly recommend this leash. It has shown to be tough and durable with our daily use.

I have a 25 lb American Eskimo. She is blind so I keep her on a short leash most of the time. But when I'm walking in a Wide Open area, I like to let her Roam around a bit more...but need to control WHERE she is going to keep her Safe. This works splendidly!

I like this retractable leash because it is lightweight and compact. It has good tension and the "hold/stop" button on the top works easily. My dog is only about 16 pounds and my previous retractable leash was large and heavy and the tension seemed too heavy for my dog. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Vibrant Life Retractable tape leash seems to be very well made. The one I have is for medium dog (up to 50Lbs). The leash strap (Tape) has a reflective thread used in it that helps it to been seen in low light. The leash can be easily controlled with the thumb button. The leash total length is 16 feet long so you can give your dog some room. You can also allow out a certain length of leash and then lock it in place by pushing the thumb button forward. The leash is light enough to carry for long periods of time without wearing you arms out. The handle is rubberized so it is not only comfortable but easy to grip. I am very pleased with the Vibrant Life leash.

I have a lot bull and we all know how strong they are. I don't get to walk her alot because I have not found a leash strong enough but this one is very strong. I like that it has a button that you can press to stop the dog. The handle feels very comfortable in your hand.

This Vibrant Life brand leash is very stylish looking and seems well constructed. It has a 6 foot retractable leash that can also be locked in place at any length you desire. The locking mechanism is easy to use and holds your pet without any worries of him or her pulling hard enough to loosen your set length. Most retractable leashes have a hand hold for a good grip to hang on to the plastic and this one does not but it does have a soft cord that you can wrap around your wrist if need be to securely hold on to. It is nice and compact without the hand grip, so not a bad trade off and if you are looking for style this one has it. A sturdy snap ring makes it easy to attach to your pets breast collar or neck collar and this small size is a perfect fit for our little dachshund. It will be our go to leash from now on.

I bought this extended leash a few weeks to a month ago for my 11 week old puppy, and it's already broken. The leash part close to the hook broke completely off while my pup was running around. The durability of this leash does not last long at all for an active dog who loves to run around and play tug of war with the leash. I absolutely would not recommend this leash for anyone who has a very active dog who loves to chew on things.

Would definitely NOT recommend for a 36 pound dog! My husband was walking the dog in our yard this leash snapped - the dog was running loose in our yard - very thankful she didn't run off or out into the road.

We used this for our puppy one day. Granted he put it in his mouth to walk us instead of us walking him and obviously chewed on it. I know he has sharp teeth but I figured it would last longer than 1 day…..
