I like the bigger ones cause it has a lid on the top and these types of containers can fall out of their mechanism easily. The lid helps a lot though, i feel up my cats food and it lasts for about a week, makes it super easy to visually see how much your cats or animals eat.

Orginally bought the "standard" size which turn out to be much too big for a single cat. This one is a great size and could easily fit the bill for a couple of cats. Would be nice to have a pop open top in order to refill it. It has to be turned upside down and disconnected from the base to put more food in. If it's not empty (just low) it gets a little dicey trying to get all of the unused pieces into the upside down container so when you detach the bottom they don't fall out on the floor.

My two 8-year-old kitties have always used a gravity feeder for both food and water. I never realized until recently that that's unusual and people feed their cats twice a day. Anyway, this food gravity feeder is a great deal at under $7! There were no sharp edges that I noticed like other reviewers mentioned. The jug snapped in very securely to the bowl. In fact when I first took the tape off and removed the jug from the bowl I thought I was breaking it! I got the small and it does have a lid on top. It carries 3 lb of dry kitty food and my kitties love it! The bowl itself is pretty shallow but it's wide and holds a lot! I love this feeder because my old feeder that was worn out and stained, would have trouble pushing the food down into the bowl. My kitties got in the routine of meowing at me so I would come and lean down and pull food from the jug into the bowl. Lol. Not having that problem with this! I highly recommend these feeders! They are good deal!

I love this feeder and have several of them. They work for what they are intended to but the food does not flow with gravity as it should, specially if the morsels are big. I use it to feed my feral cats and i have to tap the container to make the food move down (only downside) . Other than that, it is good for the price.

Awesome! We took a trip and this feeder saves us. Keeps food fresh as it dispenses as the cats eat 👍. Definately recommend if you are a basic individual!!

This feeder fir cats works ahite well for its intended purpose, fill it with dry kubbles and cats can get a meal when they choose. It eorks edpecially well for outside colony cats. The foid jar is qhite sturdy, nyt the base where the dish is st could be a bit more rigid. Iverall, it sorks as expected and the cost was less rhan orher Pet Stores.

I have a total of four of these. The first three are made using thick, sturdy plastic and have a nice lid at the top that pops off to make filling easy. The most recent one uses a new design, with plastic similar in thickness to a soda bottle. The lid is extremely hard to use and has sharp edges. See if you can find one of the old design in your local Walmart store, but I can't recommend the new design. The old lid design is large and curved, the new model has a small square lid.

Hold s fair amount of food. 3 days or so for a larger dog. problem is the food continually jams leaving the bowl empty. I have to shake the bowl several times a day. I feed kibbles and bits. The odd shapes may play a factor but my thought is that it should handle pretty much any kibble style dog food.

The canister does not lock to the base, so the food spills as soon as the cats bump it. The notch at the back does not snap to the tab on the ring like it is designed to do. I bought this same feeder a few years ago and it was great. Quality is not the same now.

its wasnt the size that it said it was way smaller then what it said and it said it fit two pound of food and it dont do that either and after you fill up the food in the container it dont fit right and all the food comes out of the container
