We bought this for our growing Doberman pup. She's currently 16 weeks and teething. She will chew the heck out of this thing (still currently training her not to chew) and it still doesn't show any signs of it. It's definitely not a leash id use for her breed where it's so short and she's high energy, but for other dogs I would absolutely recommend this leash! Very good price for the quality, too

I use this for my service dog, and it's the perfect length to keep her close while keeping my hands free to steady myself, but the shorter lead is also good for crowds or tighter spaces.

Love the idea of this, but do not love the length. Unless you are a small petite person with the waist of a Barbie, your dog will be clinging onto you if you have this secured on your waist. Most normal people wouldn't use this in this manner. Otherwise the leash is good, but much better options out there for a better price.
