Vibrant Life Compressed Hay Chew Disc with Veggies for Small Animals, 3”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My small pets really enjoy this hay chew disc and it keeps them entertained while also helping with their teeth. The texture is firm enough to last but still safe for them to chew, and the mix of veggies adds variety that makes it more appealing than plain hay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pig is really enjoying the veggie hay disk. She snacks on it for about an hour, and she's always making her little happy sounds. It was also packaged and prepared very well and did not sustain any damage in transit until it was unwrapped.

I like how they are compacted and easy to access in the cage. They must taste amazing because he sure did love it and ate it all up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My roommate has small rodents so I thought what a great opportunity to try these out and possibly be a new treat for them. They absolutely loved it and devoured it. I mean it took a couple days but it's def on his grocery list now.

He has to have something to chew on constantly it's his guilty pleasure 😂 the disc itself for a massive chewer lasted over a week so a well worth treat that's not adding anything extra just hay and some tasty treats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 bunnies and 2 of them are very alert when they hear the crinkle of a treat bag. In fact 1 grabbed the bag while I was opening it. Since I have 3 bunnies I had to break this compressed chew disk into 3 pieces so there won't be 1 bunny taking possession of the whole treat. Which occasionally happens when they each get their own snack and finish theirs before someone else does. I'm happy to report that this being a compressed hay chew was nice as it encouraged them to use their teeth and nibble on it rather than just gobbling it down. I had a small section of a piece left as was able to break it apart into 3 pieces again and they enjoyed it a 2nd time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great little treat for my buns. They loved to chew and pick at it. They even scratched it a little. The size was great and the ingredients were perfect for a nice little snack here and there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving this 3 stars for a couple of reasons. I selected this item for my rabbit. This was advised to me for my rabbit. However on the packaging it didn't say anything about it being safe for a rabbit. I had to do a lot of research before I was comfortable giving it to my bunny. The other reason is this was actually difficult to open. Why have a sealed package and a vacuum sealed plastic. Over all I won't be buying this. My bunny didn't even eat it.

The compressed disc contains alfalfa hay, timothy hay, wheat flour, carrots, and roses. My piggies really seemed to get a kick out of the texture and durability of the disc. My only point of note is the inclusion of wheat flour. For guinea pigs, this is typically not an optimal part of their diet. It should be given very sparingly, if at all. For this reason, I removed the disc from their pen after a few minutes to prevent them from eating it. For other animals, this disc may be perfect! However, guinea pig owners should pass.

Durability was also good but the effectiveness this had wasn't good. After we gave this to our hamster she passed away and her stomach was rock solid after having this.
